Goodwill Store & Donation Center — Attraction in Fond du Lac

Dear GOODWILL stores every where......The items in your stores were all FREE donations, meaning nothing in your stores cost you even a single cent, yet you price everything as if it was all purchased such as a retail store does, $75 for a chest of drawers, $40 for a wall hanging, $8 for a shirt, $20 for a dress, $8 for a pair of jeans, $10 for a wooden tray, $10 for a pair of curtains, I could go on and on......bottom line is...most people started shopping in thrift stores for the simple fact that they can not afford retail prices, it’s not a choice, it’s a have to for some, and these people absolutely can not afford your expensive prices on your free items , let that sink in . And Salvation Army is getting to be just as bad as ! This is a poor area we live in with a lot of folks that simply can’t afford to pay your high prices ! A lot of what is dropped off as a donation was leftovers from yard sales and I’m 100% sure that none of it was ever priced nearly as high as it is now in your stores ! It’s really quite pathetic to take advantage of the people in your communities, and it’s also pretty pathetic that a person can go to Walmart, tjmaxx, dollar general, big lots, etc and purchase brand new items cheaper than they can purchase items in your stores!! For an example....today I purchased a brand new 3 piece outfit for my grandson at TJMAXX for $8.00, that included 1 short sleeve shirt, 1 long sleeve shirt and 1 pair of pants, at your store, those 3 items all USED would have cost me $7-$8 at your store, and not even been a matching set. I think we all need to join together and boycott all of them until they drop their prices....without shoppers they will have no choice !!! And maybe it will actually affect them in such a way that less fortunate folks can actually afford to shop there again someday...

I came here awhile ago and ive been there this entire week aswell and The worker leo has been very disrespectful and weird to me with compliments, aswell as Jessica they are both rude and disrespectful. Everytime i come there its a bad expirience, J am always getting odd looks from the workers and I’ve infact had my bag searched multiple times though ive never stolen anything. the worker Victor has also forced me out of a changing room before when they were NOT closed and wouldnt allow me to get changed even though i had no pants on. i had to INSIST he should let me change first. You people are so disrespectful and disgusting its weird. And the way you gossip about customers is absolutely ridiculous I hope your supervisor fires all of you and gets a brand new team (besides Jamie & richie & atlas aswell as sam they are awesome love them!). The way me and anyone associated with me get treated as soon as we walk in is TERRIBLE. Assuming I’m a thief just because i look weird and setting certain rules and giving them only to me when i see other customers not getting the same treatment is outrageous. Again what victor did to me is borderline sexual assault and disgusting. Racial profiling is NOT cute by the way, Just cause I am black and look different does not...

Im not happy with my checkout here in Goodwill fonddulac, because of checkout lady. She looks new and don't know how to combine cash payment with card. On top of that I bought lots of clothes. She just put all on the side of their cash register on the bottom table after i paid everything. She did not finish working for my items and she moved to next customer . I asked her do you have a box? And she asked oh do you like a box? She said oh yes I will not leave you without giving you a box. But she already leave me hanging with my filed of clothes on table. So I had to fold all my 30pcs of clothes and put all that clothes in a box myself . So rude! She never even offer to help, when it's their job to finish and serve their customers in a good manner before moving to the...
