Lakeside Park — Attraction in Fond du Lac

The park is a wonderful area for fishing from the shore a lagoon goes through the park. There are places to put boats in a great play area for the kids including a splash pad. There is also a train that you can ride and a carousel there's also deer that you can feed and there's a petting zoo along with the soccer fields and baseball fields that are there it's a perfect park for a day out. There is some food trucks and a restaurant that you can get some pic bites at couple years ago they wanted to redo the park cuz there's a light house there and they wanted to make the park with the restaurant maybe a beach just more enjoyable kind of like the Sheboygan marshes that is really the downfall of the park and also there is no beach or swimming so you're limited to just land-based opportunities every year they do put on a walleye weekend festival in June that's free with music and food, it's a really good time for the city of fond du lac but like I said unfortunately the park can only be used for those activities stated. The rain could not keep us from Art on the Island 😃 Turns out, it really wasn't raining that much and I was very glad we decided to go.

Lakeside Park is most definitely a park you cannot describe the beauty to someone. It has so many little places you are just left saying, "Wow! This is just incredible!". Being there on a day with zero wind makes for great reflective photos of the foliage and sky.

You can lose yourself in the ginormous (it's a word 😆) trees and water surrounding everything. What wonderful place to cleanse your thoughts in as you walk all the bridges.

It is another great Wisconsin city park to take celebratory pictures in whatever the occasion.

I'm definitely going back again this summer. If you've never been here, you should put this on your list of parks to visit this summer. If you have younger children the play areas will be a joy to them and my teenager loves the view of the lake and all the bridges.

The building we were sharing with someone else It was not very clean when we got there which is very disappointing because in Sheboygan they were always clean when we got them I actually had to clean the glass in the bathrooms the mirrors the sinks and the floor I refuse to do anything past that I had to do the hallway There was dirt in there from other parties That's not okay Not when you're renting out a building and as for fishing in that location it was a joke There was nothing but algae weeds and rocks otherwise it was a beautiful location It was beautiful scenery but it just was not what it used to be You used to be able to fish at those parks and now there's not even a bite on any lure any wax worms red worms fat heads or shiners not one single bite Now usually you'd get bait stealing bluegills but not even that was happening.
