Second Impressions Thrift Store — Attraction in Fond du Lac

The prices on furniture is far too high for a "Thrift Store". When people go thrifting, they are looking for a deal. Saw a smaller bookshelf, yes pretty and yes I am sure it sells nicely on ebay BUT, you are a THRIFT store and get these items free. Prices on eBay reflect a whole different crowd of buyers. Please be more mindful for the shoppers you're bringing in as we want to THIRFT not retail shop. Almost $400 for a small bookshelf. Why? Your goal is to get things in and out.... not sit on stuff because ebay says an outrageous price. Think.... Thrift Store. People who don't have a lot of money looking for furniture you got for free.

Response to owner: Being that I can not respond to you on here. Do you honestly think this is a fair price for a thrift store? $400 for a small bookshelf? You didn't get my point. You're not ebay. Nor should you price things at high eBay prices that you are given for free. Your job is to move product. I'm sure you sit on things for a while. You consider yourself a THRIFT store. Maybe change the name to resale? Other thrift stores don't charge the prices you do on furniture and im not the only one who has said this...

Rude Employees and items are WAY over priced. there was a vanity desk in there for $500.00, I get it maybe its "vintage" or an antique however my doubts grew when I found a small catch all tray. it was priced at $8 for a simple unfinished wood with a mirror base. I flipped it over and noticed a price tag on the bottom side of the tray fron the original store labeled $5. I immediately left the store disgusted by the up charge. there was also a dresser set with chipped and scratched paint with tarnished handles $165 for the pair. Disappointed with drop off. Been dropping off 4-5 boxes of donations every week including furniture, clothing, and household items. Today my husband went and dropped off 4 more boxes of donations. He noticed lots of boxes stacked up against the wall and asked about them since we need more boxes to continue our donations to Second Impressions and the older gentleman stated they were keeping the boxes for packing things in.
