Family Pathways Thrift Store — Attraction in Forest Lake

I was there shopping on March 1, 2022 and I felt that the customer service has really went downhill at this location. For starters I wondered why I wasn’t getting my redemption points for my orange card that they took for me the last time I was here telling me that my points would transfer, it was full so when I came in I shopped on a Tuesday knowing that I could use it because I’m not a senior citizen, but a woman at the front desk with medium length brown hair wearing a beanie cap acting as if she was management very rudely told me that points didn’t transfer. She was very abrupt and very rude and I explained to her that they did not give me a redemption for a full card when they changed over to their new system but she did not care. Her attitude was very poor and if she is in fact in management she should be demoted. I went back in to see what her name tag said so I could put her name in this review but unfortunately she wasn’t even wearing one. Additionally I’d like to add that their prices have gone up quite significantly and I don’t really understand why you skyrocket your prices for things that you get for free to sell for charity. Ive never been to a family pathways till tonight. Nov19,2018. Me and buddy drove by and i asked him wonder what that place does, and he rssponded its like a good will type place and said you wanna go look ,they sometimes have good deals. So i said why not so we turned around and drove back. First thing i noticed is nice and clean and organized .along with a younger lady saying we close in 10 mins so we walkwd through quick. I found two matching heaters and tried them out while another female that worked there said we cant ring up anything after 7 so we ran up to the regisrer with two heaters and and forgot wallet in car parked out the front door first spot. So told her i had to run out and she notified .me in the most rude way i ever been talked to. She said well maybe you should have listened and doors are locked so your sol. I couldnt even believe it. Then says i can go put heater back and maybe be first to get it tomarro. As we left empty handed and sitting in car they are ringing out an older ladt and as apon her leaving they actually lock door behind her. God bless these rude younger ladys they need god. If any ive never had one bad experiance like this ever anywhere. Thats over $30 bucks she through down...

This is one of the best stores on the Pathway Circuit. When I go to one, I feel They are usually in close enough proximity that I will go the distance and do 2 if not 3 stores on an outing. Now this store I get to the least but it is My Favorite and usually save the best for last. Just due to how far away I live now. Everyone is very friendly and the product seems to turn at a good interval. They have a much better selection of furniture and the auction seems fun but I live to far away to try and participate. Some people shop here for fun and some people that re sell stuff but as a Veteran that has come on hard times. There were many occasions I needed some good blankets and nicer clothes for work at a price that made sure I had enough to pay My heating or not go delinquent on a bill for the month.
