Hi Pizza Hut - corporate said to go online and so here I am! Forest Lake Minnesota Buckle up, here’s a ride for you! My family and I decided to go to our late brothers favorite food for dinner as we are not able to get together often and we were celebrating getting his face on a billboard to raise awareness of his passing. That happened to be Pizza Hut. Walking in we were instructed to have a seat, but come to the counter to order as they are short staffed so there’s no one to wait on the table. No problem, we’ve all been there! We get situated and I go to order for the table at the counter. First thing I ask is to get one order of breadsticks and one order of cheese sticks. I am then told that the breadsticks are actually like garlic bread toast. I open and referred to the menu and point to what I am asking for. The breadsticks and the cheese sticks… not the garlic toast. I am then told that the breadsticks are just the cheese sticks without the bread. I nod, I mean, maybe it’s been a long day… and I just say yes I am aware of that and that is what I would like. Moving past the breadsticks, I ask if they carry the taco pizza because it says only available at some locations. They informed me that yes they do. So I ordered a large taco pizza, and then I’m immediately told that they do not have the bean sauce. They cannot make the pizza. Apparently whoever closed last night forgot to take the ā€œfrozen brick of bean sauceā€ out of the freezer. OK fine. Short staffed, roll with it. We order a meat lovers instead. We go on to order two kids meals, a veggie pizza, and another small personal pizza along with six adult drinks and two child drinks. We’re told the drink cups are next to the fountain soda station as are the plates and napkins and help ourselves, so we do so. Although we realize quickly the machine is out of ice and the pop coming out is room temperature or so. Shortstaffed, So we roll with it… we just ask if they could please put ice in the machine so that we can have cold drinks. We’re told they’re not sure if they can get to that. So then I asked for the kids cups, we’re also told that there’s no such thing that they have to use the large adult cups. Apparently, corporate won’t order any smaller size cups. OK fine…. Moving on with warm sodas and giant cups for my two-year-old. The food begins to come out and it’s all as we order, so we’re moving past the bumps on the road, just waiting on our last pizza. We also hear ice hit the machine so we are able to get cold drinks. Yay! While we’re waiting for the last pizza, we are just enjoying family conversation as we begin to hear loud arguing coming from the kitchen. Apparently they’re in the middle of firing one of their drivers and they are doing so in such a way that the entire restaurant can hear what they are saying. They are yelling at this teenage boy loudly aggressively, and with frustration, so loudly that it’s hard to carry on our own family conversations. I am trying to distract my two children from what is going on with coloring and silly jokes, but it was very unprofessional for this boy to be getting reamed at for the entire restaurant to hear. Once that was over, we’re 20 minutes into getting our food and we still have not gotten our last pizza. My dad goes up to the counter and asked on the status of the final pizza. He is told that he never ordered that pizza. So my dad walks back to the table, collects his receipt and brings it to the front figuring that would help solve the problem as it’s clearly on the receipt. The man working glances at it, then looks at my dad and says If you’re gonna argue me about it then all I can do is give you store credit. This is sort of the last straw for my dad so he responds that he would not like store credit because he will not be returning to the establishment. He would simply like the pizza that he paid for. SEE MY ADDED PHOTOS FOR THE REST - oh yes, there’s more.

I got a thin crust, half pepperoni half everything...the pizza was crispy hot and delicious! The order came SUPER fast so that was nice! The gentleman who took my order was very nice and the one who delivered it was very nice as well! My only complaints.. they forgot the cheese on my breadsticks lol Not the end of the world but I love cheese so I was kind of disappointed. Also the pasta. Ugh 😫 im SO disappointed in that. It's not necessarily their fault.. But if you ever had their original pasta, with the rotini noodles it was phenomenal, easily one of my FAVORITE menu items. The Alfredo sauce was always so thick creamy and delicious! Their new Alfredo.. not good. The sauce was super thin didn't have much flavor and there wasn't very much of it. At least the noodles were cooked al dente so that was a bonus ...but I definitely miss the rotini noodles and their original Alfredo sauce :( I knocked off a star for them for forgetting cheese on the breadsticks and a garlic butter sauce but overall I would still order from them again, I just wouldn't get the pasta again šŸ˜†

My friend and husband and I ate here after a doctor appointment. As always the food was excellent and the service was great! Pizza Hut has been my favorite for many years. My husband looked ill at first and used the restroom. Besides my friend and I the staff were concerned too but he rallied quickly and was able to finish all his meal! I think that was pretty great..only downfall was that my husband didnt win anything from the claw machine! lol This place will remain our favorite for a very long time-no better pizza Anywhere!

Buckle up, here’s a ride for you!

Restaurant Review: Dine-in Pizza Hut āļøāļøšŸ˜„

Maybe it's my nostalgia coming through on this one, but the visit to a dine-in #PizzaHut was a let down.

Keep in mind, I know it's Pizza Hut, I knew we were not going to be blown away by out-of-this-world food.

But what I was hoping for (and this was my mistake) was to walk through the door, be greeted by that known-Pizza-Hut-Smell, see those Tiffany-inspired hanging lights, drink from those recognizable red plastic cups and warn my daughter that her personal-pan-pizza skillet was going to be hot šŸ”„

That was not the experience. Ambiance wise, it was confusing. There was an attempt at what I can only guess was a local-rural-industrial theme. None of the artwork on the wall made sense for the restaurant or the community.

Not only was the theme confusing but so was the brand itself.

And then the service šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø If a restaurant is fully staffed these days, let's be real, it's a miracle. And I ALWAYS take into account the post-covid effect when taking in service. But this was not great. There were plenty of staff...standing around. Also to note, there were very few orders going out the door or pick-ups. It was an incredibly slow night. We got sat and noticed all the un-bussed tables that sat dirty for at least 45 minutes after we were sat. And for a long time we were the only table in the restaurant. Later on, one other family came in (so 2 tables total) with at least 6 staff standing at the counter talking with each other. The few tables that did get bussed were because of the new family and mine that came in. Some of the other tables never got cleaned while we were there. Our server took about 12 minutes to come take our initial drink order (we watched her chat with the other staff before making her way over). It took her longer to come back to take our order. Our food came out timely (skillet personal pan pizzas were not available. Just regular personal pizzas -not even close to the same taste). But that was about the only thing going for our experience. Our server didn't check back with us and it was difficult to flag her down when we were ready to leave (again chatting with the rest of the staff standing around). So it took along time before we were able to check out.

The food again, is what you'd expect from Pizza Hut. Nothing to write home about. But it was a bummer we could not get that skillet personal pan Pizza experience while dining in.

I'm not sure if they still do those school incentives(Book-It) for kids anymore (I hope they do).

My childhood version of dining in at a pizza Hut was shattered but not much we can do about that. But the service was the miss here more than anything

Had a simple order for a few pizzas and an order of wings, nothing too extravagant ie not too many toppings per pizza… the order took well over an hour to arrive, that was not the problem. Finding that pizza orders were incorrect and missing items, that was not the problem. I do not recommend bringing your family to this establishment unless you don’t mind uninvited hostility by the manager and her boyfriend, whom shouldn’t even be picking up the phone if he can’t understand simple English language. They hung up the phone 3 times, even by the 3rd call we got someone else with common courtesy and human decency to simply correct the order given a 30-45min window to redeliver. Ended up going in store to figure out what and why the other phone calls were being hung up on and the manager decided to start screaming ontop of her lungs, saying she would call the police though her hostility towards the person who originally ordered the pizzas, was started by the manager. Not to mention, whatever hostility was towards the original person who placed the order, was a personal matter, as the manager and her boyfriend (co-worker) tend to visit the in home bar for free drinks constantly… Rather than keeping things professional in a business setting they chose to purge a war and point fingers while on the clock.

*THIS IS NOT A FAMILY APPROPRIATE ESTABLISHMENT and ENVIRONMENT **Also note to add, THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT BUSY IN STORE AND OR WITH DELIVERIES AT THE TIME OF ORDEAL.

Conclusion: after the 3rd employee said they would remake the order and redeliver, the manager and boyfriend decided to go ahead and cancel that because of their hostility towards my mother in law.

*Don’t worry, I already contacted corporate. It is unacceptable to aggressively approach a customer trying to fix an order on your time of mistake, when you raise your aggressiveness and give disrespect, you can not expect a customer to sit there and take it. The defense was much justified, so worry about...
