I’m disappointed with the service I received at this DQ location. On a Friday I went to order a large sheet cake at this location custom decorated for an event happening that Saturday. I told them I needed it ready by 2 PM that Saturday. The employees told me they could do it and that it would be ready in time. I was told that they would call me when it was ready to pick up. So Saturday around 2:15 PM (which is after the time it should have been ready by) I hadn’t received a phone call saying it was ready so I just figured that it was ready and they forgot to call. So I go to the store to pick it up and the response I get from the employees is “well it wouldn’t be ready today because it’s Saturday and the managers decorate the cakes and they aren’t here on the weekends”. So I responded by explaining that I had been told that it could be ready by this time. So reluctantly they go check in the back and don’t find the cake so I tell them “well I needed the cake by today so please just cancel the request for the cake and I’ll have to figure something else out”. The employees seemed incredibly confused by why I would ask for it to be cancelled but I didn’t worry about it since I fortunately hadn’t prepaid for the cake. I ended up just buying an undecorated one off the shelf and I asked if they could just write a simple message on the cake. They respond with “honesty dude we are so swamped today so we can’t”. While I understand many business are understaffed I do not agree with that they were too busy. There were two employees there, it was drive through only (except for cakes), there were maybe three cars in line, and it was raining out so I don’t think there was going to be a big rush in the next five minutes. I was not given any type of apology for the cake not being ready by the employees. They didn’t even say something simple like “we’re sorry it’s not ready.” This place also charges way too much for soft serve ice cream and in my opinion the managers should be there on the weekends when the restaurant is probably more busy (when it’s not raining out). I won’t be ordering another cake from this location...
Read moreOrdered burgers, chili dogs and fries to go. The person that packed the bags, stood the chili dogs upright. The chili of course, slid to the bottom of the container, and through the bottom of the bag. Not knowing this, I lifted the bags up from my car seat and everything fell through the bottom of the bags and all over the interior of my car. I gave them a second chance. I tried one more time. I stopped the person bagging the chili dogs, as he was putting them in upright. I took them out and bagged the food myself. Got home. The hot dog buns were hard. The hot dogs themselves we're room temperature, despite having chili on them. The burgers we're dry and overcooked. And they forgot to pack one of the fries, which really didn't matter because they had been sitting there for a while and should have been thrown out. Never again. Their food is awful and this location has...
Read moreThis Dairy Queen has the worst service. I have tried multiple times to give them a chance since the pandemic because I have gone to this location for over 40 years but I won't go again. Last night while I was waiting patiently in the drive through for 30 minutes. At 8:47 the kids working the drive through just shut down the store. There were 4 of us left in line. They proclaimed that they had to shut down the store due to "staff shortages." There were 3 of them standing in there probably waiting for 9:00 so they could punch out. They refused to take any more orders. The chairs were all up on the tables. They just did not want to work anymore so they closed down early. Clearly a poorly managed location. From now on, I will always drive the extra 5 miles to go to the one in Wyoming. It is clean, fast and the staff is...
