Forest Hills Memorial Gardens — Attraction in Forest Park

I was reading some of the reviews and couldn’t help but wonder—did we even go to the same place? My experience was truly beautiful from start to finish. My son's headstone was placed today, and it’s absolutely stunning. Judge and Adelaide were incredible throughout the entire process—so compassionate, understanding, and kind.

I truly felt a connection with both of them. They showed so much patience, even as I made changes to the headstone after placing the order back in March. I know I wasn’t the easiest client, but Judge’s demeanor never changed. He remained calm, respectful, and supportive—something I deeply appreciated, especially while making one of the hardest decisions of my life.

To my surprise, the headstone came two months earlier than expected—and on my niece’s birthday, right before the 4th of July. How awesome is that? It felt like a small blessing during a very emotional time.

The memorial grounds are always peaceful and beautifully maintained. The landscaping is impeccable, and nothing on my son’s plot was ever disturbed, even though I visit often. Before I finalized the headstone, I had placed flowers and plaques—and every single item was still there today. That level of respect and care means everything to me.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Called the Administrator Aug 3 or 4 to find out where my moms headstone is was told it should come this month ( August ) she was extremely RUDE told me if I wanted it expedited I could pay and extra 200 or 250 ,I asked for the number to the place that was making the stone she told me No , then when I mentioned getting my own headstone from outside the cemetery ya would make sure your lawnmower guys would run over it and break it she hung up on me such a RUDE Heffer. Judge Blair told my Sister and me would take 3 month to get it so we paid it off April 3 which ment my mom would have it by her birthday 7-25, well here it us end of Aug still nothing this is a awful place every time I place flowers they throw them away but when I go I see some Graves have fences, candles some of everything but I can't have a simple bouquet of flowers till her stone gets there...

Whatever you do don't purchase a headstone from these people their services or horrible I purchase two headstones from them on for my mother and one for my sister three years apart my sister's headstone look like it's still brand new but my mother's look like it has been down 20 or 30 years I tried to speak to someone but they just gave me the run around saying that someone sprayed something on it and they can't or should I say won't do anything about it. I called Forest Hill and spoke to a guy there who was really RUDE and no matter what would not give me his name told me I didn't need to know his name. How unprofessional is that, and that they do not keep ant records of purchases on their property. Needless to say I had to go else where to get the headstone re bronzed and never do business with this place again. People and services or both...
