Bushkill Park is a cute, small, family-friendly amusement park that features the country's oldest funhouse, Hilarity Hall. The park celebrated its 121st birthday in the Summer of 2023, according to news reports. Staff members I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable. Park admission is free, and guests purchase tickets for rides. Tickets are $1 each, and each ride takes just a few tickets. Some rides at the park include a carousel, Tilt-A-Whirl, a Scrambler-type ride, and a train that takes guests throughout the park. The park also has a large rollerskating rink and concessions. I went mainly for the funhouse, which staff says is more than 100 years old. I wasn't disappointed. The large, wooden rotating barrel near the front of the funhouse wasn't operating on my visit. A staff member told me the park was flooded weeks earlier, and the barrel needed a new motor. I still had a blast walking through the old but well-kept funhouse and enjoyed seeing the old painted murals on the walls. The funhouse also features a rickety staircase that shifts back and forth as you walk up it, a walkway made of rollers, so you have to keep your balance, and my favorite - a large wooden slide that takes you to the funhouse exit. If you are unable to take the slide, there are steps next to it. My visit was brief but definitely worth the 2-hour round trip drive, especially seeing a part of history - the country's oldest funhouse.

This was our first time visiting the park. We came during the evening hours to check out the skating rink. I allowed my 12 year old daughter to stay for a bit with her friend. They spent just under two hours skating there. The girls had a lovely time. I was very happy when I heard how much fun they were having. Until I arrived to pick them…… when we first arrived there were two cars parked directly outside of the skating rink entrance. Both were vehicles belonging to a few families that were there. One gentleman was escorting his small children from their car into the snack area. And another family was just hanging out by their vehicle. So because, I saw this I thought oh great, I can park my vehicle right outside of the skating entrance like these other families did. I was very grateful for this since it was actively raining outside. However, when I pulled up to the entrance an older gentleman and lady immediately came out and stared at my vehicle. The man stepped back inside and the lady stood outside and glared at me and my car. As soon as I stepped out of my car she said in a Loud and RUDE tone of voice “Can I help you!?”. To which I replied, “Yes, I am here to pick up my daughter and her friend.” The lady then said “well you can’t park here, you’re supposed to park out there.” To which I replied “well when I arrived there were other guest vehicles parked out here and there is a car parked right over there right now..so I assumed I could park here.” There was literally one vehicle parked directly outside to the left while she claimed no one could park there. She then said “well you can’t.” So I said to her, “no problem going forward I definitely will not park here.” She then said,”okay well you can go in and get whoever you’re here for.” What is really hilarious & Ironic is that I have the parked cars on video! Which I will post here for your amusement! Bcuz my daughter was being silly with her friend and recorded themselves walking into the park! LOL The lady was Extremely RUDE, you Do Not speak to Patrons like that. Period!! Even if they “can’t park somewhere” you approach them with a kind and respectful demeanor. You also do NOT Glare at people and stare them down like they’re a criminal about to commit a crime. For your information: I am a Nurse & I also had a small business for 7 years (a real LLC, a maintenance company with articles of organization etc.) and I can tell you… that you Do Not Speak to your clients that way. My daughter also said their bathroom smelled disgusting and didn’t even lock properly…so she had to hold the door closed for her friend! She said the rink was also super dusty like it hadn’t been mopped in ages. And there was a teenage girl with her boyfriend there who told my daughter and her friend to “get the Eff out of the way.” Because she said they were “going the wrong way.”Seriously…. It is really too bad because the other lady at the skating rink passing out the skate rentals was sooooo sweet and welcoming . It is only bcuz of her I am giving an extra star and also bcuz despite everything the girls did have some fun. However we will definitely NOT be coming back here. Enjoy your Parking lot and your smelly bathroom, Good bye .

This amusement park was everything I expected it to be. I first saw this park on American Pickers TV show and was like I am always in Easton PA visiting One day, I will pass by and take photos. One day, while in Easton PA, I was telling the people in the car about this amusement park n hiw we should look for it as I looked out the car eindow I saw the big clown face I remembered seeing on American Pickers. My friends did not want to stop.they all thought I was telling a tale. So they googled the story. I tell ya they were shocked. Still, we did not head back to see it. While I was in Easton, I asked Google fun things to do with your pups on the weekend I was visiting... you won't believe this 1st thing that popped up was Doggie day at bushkill amusement park. So off we went my 2 pups n I went to bushkill amusement park n had a great time was to be had. They offered free salmon, beef, liver doggie flavored snowcones. We got to ride the train n go on the carsoul. Truly a fun afternoon

What a cute place! Never knew it existed! The word "dinky" comes to mind, but in a charming way. It's old and small, but that helps make it so cute. We went for a birthday party there. What a great idea! Because it's so small, we were able to stick together and ride as a huge group. No charge to get in, which is nice. The staff were not overly friendly, particularly some of the young ride operators, but the kids didn't even notice. Their favorite part of the entire day was the wooden slide inside the old- school funhouse. It was so cute. Run down but cute. Keep an eye on your young children, though. There were quite few instances where the operator didn't even notice safety hazards, like when one walked right by my young toddler "checking" all were ready to go as she was standing up in her seat out of her buckle already. I let myself in the gate to take her off before he started it. All around great time, though. We'll go back as something different to do.

There is so much history with this park. They have been trying so hard to get it back up and running we walked around first the skating rink is open and has a nice brand new floor i overheard it was 5$ to skate and 2 dollars for rentals. Today there were 5 little rides open and they are planning on getting 3 more running within the next couple of weeks. All of the staff were friendly and sweet to the kids. I could tell they loved seeing the little smiles. Tickets are a dollar a piece and rides were 2 and 3 tickets. Bathrooms are in the skating rink. They also will do private partys during the week. Great little place for the littles it was a fun afternoon. Hopefully revenue will pick up and they can expand little by little to what they used to be! Their current FB page is ( the one and only true bushkill park facebook page) the other pages are from previous management.
