This was our first time visiting the park. We came during the evening hours to check out the skating rink. I allowed my 12 year old daughter to stay for a bit with her friend. They spent just under two hours skating there. The girls had a lovely time. I was very happy when I heard how much fun they were having. Until I arrived to pick them…… when we first arrived there were two cars parked directly outside of the skating rink entrance. Both were vehicles belonging to a few families that were there. One gentleman was escorting his small children from their car into the snack area. And another family was just hanging out by their vehicle. So because, I saw this I thought oh great, I can park my vehicle right outside of the skating entrance like these other families did. I was very grateful for this since it was actively raining outside. However, when I pulled up to the entrance an older gentleman and lady immediately came out and stared at my vehicle. The man stepped back inside and the lady stood outside and glared at me and my car. As soon as I stepped out of my car she said in a Loud and RUDE tone of voice “Can I help you!?”. To which I replied, “Yes, I am here to pick up my daughter and her friend.” The lady then said “well you can’t park here, you’re supposed to park out there.” To which I replied “well when I arrived there were other guest vehicles parked out here and there is a car parked right over there right now..so I assumed I could park here.” There was literally one vehicle parked directly outside to the left while she claimed no one could park there. She then said “well you can’t.” So I said to her, “no problem going forward I definitely will not park here.” She then said,”okay well you can go in and get whoever you’re here for.” What is really hilarious & Ironic is that I have the parked cars on video! Which I will post here for your amusement! Bcuz my daughter was being silly with her friend and recorded themselves walking into the park! LOL The lady was Extremely RUDE, you Do Not speak to Patrons like that. Period!! Even if they “can’t park somewhere” you approach them with a kind and respectful demeanor. You also do NOT Glare at people and stare them down like they’re a criminal about to commit a crime. For your information: I am a Nurse & I also had a small business for 7 years (a real LLC, a maintenance company with articles of organization etc.) and I can tell you… that you Do Not Speak to your clients that way. My daughter also said their bathroom smelled disgusting and didn’t even lock properly…so she had to hold the door closed for her friend! She said the rink was also super dusty like it hadn’t been mopped in ages. And there was a teenage girl with her boyfriend there who told my daughter and her friend to “get the Eff out of the way.” Because she said they were “going the wrong way.”Seriously…. It is really too bad because the other lady at the skating rink passing out the skate rentals was sooooo sweet and welcoming . It is only bcuz of her I am giving an extra star and also bcuz despite everything the girls did have some fun. However we will definitely NOT be coming back here. Enjoy your Parking lot and your smelly bathroom, Good bye .

What a cool place! The owner accommodates everything you need for a special party just for your son or daughter and their friends and family. It is so cool that you get the whole place to yourself for a private party. The rollerskating rink is big and spacious and they have a woman that announces during the party and plays games with the children and plays fun music as well. This place offers different food packages and they have an option for unlimited popcorn for all of your guests, which is great because most people love popcorn. I know we do! They also have a separate party room that you’re able to come with your decorations and set up towards the end of the skating portion of the night. You can bring your own cake or cupcakes, whatever you’d like to serve and they offer a pizza place to order from if you’d like pizza. Which by the way, the pizza place that they order from is delicious I will say. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the location of the bathrooms. The bathrooms are extremely tiny and they are right off of the rink so as you’re skating around, you go right into the bathroom. They kind of sloped down a little bit and the toilets are smaller, so it is definitely challenging with rollerskates on to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, this place is so much fun. The owner is wonderful and all of the kids love it here. Not only is the inside so much fun but the outside where all of the rides are is so cool as well. They run all kinds of events there throughout the year like a haunted experience that you can ride a train through the amusement park with all kinds of zombies, walking around the park and other things like couples painting, and skating nights. The owner is always coming up with new and creative ways for people to enjoy the theme park throughout the...

I’ve been going to Bushkill Park my entire life (on and off of course). Last night my family went for the first time since their most recent reopening. My family has always loved the park. The work done looks great but that where the positive feedback ends. Our experience was unpleasant at best. Check in doesn’t take cards but you wait in line anyway, then are sent to the snack bar to pay after waiting there. After that you have to go back to the check in to wait again. That was annoying but tolerable. The staff were rude in every sense of the word and in every interaction. They were downright mean to the kids, including harassing and yelling at little ones. (We’re talking 5-9 years old.) Teens and adults were permitted to ‘hang on the wall’ which was the major issue they made with the kids. When we attempted to address it we were met with defensive, argumentative and arrogant replies including ‘this is what we’ve done for 102 years’. That is absolutely not true. At one point 20+ kids were forcefully removed from the rink to allow for adult skate for literally 6 adults plus a rink employee. Nothing about our experience reflects a family friendly place or our memory of Bushkill Park. It’s unfortunate that this is the way they’re treating customers, especially when the park struggles to begin with. An open-minded trip to observe how other skating rinks are run would do a world of good.

ETA - In addition to my own, I know of 3 other families who won’t be going back after...
