Casa Italia Restaurante — Restaurant in Forks Township

We had a party of 11 and made reservations. Not only was the table not ready - which didn't bother us, the lady behind the counter was beyond rude. Keep in mind, the reservation was at 4:30 - so they were not busy. She gave us a hard time from the moment we checked in until we the time we left. First she argued that our reservation was for 6 people, when it was for 11. Not that it should have mattered - there were plenty of tables and we were there for a while and at no point was the restaurant full. Another co-worker set her straight on that the fact that we indeed have a reservation for 11 people. She set up the table so the end was not aligned with the main table, did not put any silverware, menus or plates at each place setting. She dumped them on the table for us to hand out to ourselves. Had she been busy or had she even had been nice that would not have been an issue. We have been going to the restaurant regularly, at least once a month, but no more. There are other Italian restaurants in the area where the food is just as good and the people there treat their customers like any decent human being should be treated. If the nasty young lady had been our server (thankfully, she was not) there would have been no question she would have gotten zero tip - not something we've ever even considered! The server we had wasn't great at the job, but a least she wasn't outwardly hostile. We assumed she was new, so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed of the horribly rude young lady they have...

The food was excellent, ... service, not so much!!! When the waitress finally came over to take our order, it took forever to get our drinks. Our meal came out and was absolutely delicious. Nice portions and very flavorful. However, halfway through the meal, we both needed refills, and the waitress was nowhere to be found until she finally checked back to ask how everything was after we were 75% finished eating (good thing we didn't have an issue). She took one glass and came back with a refill, and I was like, what about mine? She did apologize, and then took glass. We finished eating and waited and waited (still no drink refill for me). She finally came back, and asked if we needed anything else, so I said, my drink refill would be nice. So she left again, only to come back with the wrong beverage and scamper back off in a hurry. Mind you there were only 3 tables in the restaurant, and another server had the other 2. At this point I just sucked it up. Twenty minutes later of trying to get her attention for a box and the check. Then, the waiting game started all over again. 15 minutes went by and she never came back for the payment. So, we took it up to the take out counter to try and get cashed out. I have never had such lackadaisical service in my life, thank goodness we didn't really have any other place to be in a hurry. The great food will make us come back, but definitely NOT...

We had a group of 15 people here on this past Monday night. 9/11/23. We each ordered different dinners. Mine was chicken with broccoli over penne, but others ordered shells, lasagna, chicken Marsala, cheesesteak and fries, you name it. Everyone loved the food. Mine was so delicious with fresh tender broccoli, perfectly cooked penne and a mountain of chicken breast meat. Wish I had two stomachs, it was sooo good. Service was provided by one fantastic waitress who got all our orders correct and delivered piping hot to each of us. She earned the good tips we were happy to provide. The decor is irrelevant. It's plain but clean and pleasant. The food is excellent, well-priced and fresh, the service is 5 stars and we happy customers will be returning. Wonderful!...
