Contacted extended warranty to have refrigerator fixed. A technician from Premier Appliance Services, FRANK, came out and was in home for less than 5-10 minutes at most. He never pulled the fridge out, took out a tool, meter, or anything, nor did he EVEN BRING ANY TOOLBOX IN THE HOUSE. I showed him a video of the refrigerator making noises and he opened the doors, took a picture of the model number placard and said he would research and order parts. I got an invoice with no notes on it and he then closed the claim and billed for it. 2 weeks later, no call, email, or anything and I contact the extended warranty and they tell me my claim was closed. I called Premier and as many others have said, they do not answer the phone. I got the high call volume recording. Finally Ken replied via email and stated that they were aware my unit still was not fixed, but there were no parts to replace. But, he also told me I would have to open a new ticket to have a new tech dispatched to diagnose and order parts if necessary. WHY tell me you need a new ticket if there was nothing to fix? Then I was told that the tech wrote on the notes "no issue found upon arrival" even though I showed him a video of the fridge making noise, and he said they would order parts, and contact me to come back and install.
NONE OF THESE THINGS were in writing on the invoice. It appears this company has a habit of collecting easy money for in home "diagnostics" where they show up for 5 minutes, never pull a tool or meter out and then claim they are going to order parts, and then you never hear from them again. The email responses I received contradicted each other and when I called this out, I was then told that "Frank" no longer is with the company. I personally don't believe this company. They have said a lot of contradictory things, and their honestly and reputation is definitely questionable. I would avoid if you can.
If you get the same "experience" I would encourage you to report them to the Attorney General's Office, Texas Licensing Board, etc. BBB is ok, but better to report them to entities that can fine them, suspend their...
Read moreDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! We were without a washer for 2 1/2 months. The tech walked in for 5 seconds lifted lid and said it's the switch. Never checked anything else on the washer. Said it would be 3-5 days. After hearing nothing 9 days later, I called and had to leave a message. I received a txt back 8 min to their closing time that the part was on backorder. I tried to call and no answer. Over the next month I called each week for an update. Never got an answer or a call back. Leaving a message requesting update each time. Then after 4 wks I get a txt telling me I have an appointment the next day. They couldn't even call to schedule. So tech comes and puts lid switch in and it's not the problem. Go figure. Now he says it's the control board. Another 4 wks with no washer. And of course no answer or call backs from this company with an update. Again got a txt, not a call to schedule, that tech would come put on part. This did fix the washer, but only for a month. Had to request repair again on a brand new washer. Outside of whatever problem the washer was having, this company has horrible communication and customer service skills. I don't see how you can keep a business open when you obviously ignore your customers and take so long to get back with parts. My husband is an A/C tech and when he needs a part that he doesn't keep on the truck, he has it to the customer the next day. If it's on back order he communicates with the customer and answers their calls. Update on the washer: different company was sent. They had to replace both parts again and the washer is working after...
Read moreThis company came out on my freezer because it kept alarming and my stuff was thawing out, it was not freezing. The tech said he had to order 2 parts that would take 5 to 7 days and would be delivered to my apt. It took to 2 weeks for the parts yo be delivered to my house. I called to let them know the parts arrived they scheduled the second tech came out was a different tech than the 1st. He called and I had to explain how to get here then he said that the freezer had to be unplugged for 24 hours and thaw out before he could replace the parts. The first tech did not tell us this even though the second tech said the first tech implied in his notes that he did. So the next day, a third tech came out a different one again said we didn’t need both parts and only installed one part and I had already called them and told them about the light that didn’t work on the inside of the freezer as this tech is leaving and said it’s all fixed. Give it time to cool down and the light will stop blinking at the .bottom. He’s already gone when I go in there and look, and the light on the inside is still not working. So it wasn’t fixed I text him from the number he texted me from and got no reply explaining the light was still not Working. This company for me in my experience was not a good company, although the techs were polite when they were here, they did not do a good job or completed the job to my...
