For a forney taco spot this place is a little above average in terms of flavor of the carne asada and al pastor. The al pastor burrito was good. I added onion n cilantro. That was a good call. We also had the fajitas. That was ok. Needed onion cilantro and limes. The hot sauces were typical. Creamy red n green. A salsa verde and rojo. The rojo tasted like pace picante sauce. That was a turn off. In terms of atmosphere it was typical sterile, metal furnishings. Service was great. They even gave us some meat to sample before i ordered. Nice. The prices for everything was pretty expensive considering the other local taco shops. Ah the churro. It was one of the best tasting but also one of the smallest ive ever had. I highly recommend Taqueria El Maiz. These guys are a hidden gem and are about to make a name for...
