.I posted a review on here previously and the owner contacted his attorney. His attorney contacted me via phone call and demanded I remove my negative review in order to not be sued. So if you post an honest comment and review that is not to their liking, you need to change it or the lawyer comes knocking. Sounds like an honest business, right? Reviews are just that. A review based on each customer experience. If you cared so much about your reviews maybe you should simply take care of the customers or if they have a bad experience reach out and ask them how you can fix it. Not threatening to go to court. You have a great location. Some nice items. All of which I have strong interest in. However, your customer relations need help. Your understanding of customers needs are lacking. Common courtesy goes a long way. My honest review can't be posted in concern there may be a lawsuit for telling the truth but hey maybe that's how you have so many positive reviews? Just have your lawyer reach out and threaten a lawsuit. I can say you don't deserve the one star left here today. If you notice many of their "Positive reviews" are nothing more that people with less than...
Read moreI am pleased to give Fairfield Coin & Jewelry a 5 star rating. It was my first time visiting this business. Believe it or not, it was recommended by an employee of another jewelry store where I was given a quote to repair my diamond solitaire gold ring. I didn't know what to expect when I arrived. The owner, Jim waited on me. He didn't tell me he was the owner, I just discovered it later on in my visit. I can't speak highly enough about him. Jim is my definition of what great customer service looks like. He is warm and kind while also being a gentle teacher. He gave me several options to fix my ring. He gave me a very fair price to repair it. He didn't have to, but he graciously cleaned my engagement and wedding rings for me and made sure that the prongs were solid on my tiny engagement ring. Although the rings are not that valuable, they are priceless to me as they represent 46 years of marriage for me. Thank you, Jim and your equally wonderful staff, for your honest and sincere customer service. You...
Read moreI've been here twice and my first impression was very poor because I brought in a shoe box full of old graded coins and bills. I asked to have each item priced and the guy says, "We're not going to go through every single item, we don't have time for that." I'm sorry but if you want new business that's the worst way to get it. Went to another business, "We Buy Gold", and they had no problem going through my collection, sold over $1,000 of it to them.
The second time I brought in 2 old large bills, one nearly mint condition. I told him "We Buy Gold FW" offered $300 for it and he told me to run back to them because he won't. He pulls out a graded note exactly like mine that he's selling for $485 because his is whiter than mine. Really? Made my decision a lot easier, went back and sold it for $300 to the other business. No point to ever return here. Great customer service, LMAO! Don't waste your time here, they also sell silver at a higher price...
