Seemed so promising at first! Cameron started us off and gave a great intro. He had warned us he would be switching off from our game monitor to someone else half way through. The room was cool, the clues were good, everything was going well. We admittedly took too long on some things initially and decided we needed to start using some hints . At that point we could tell the game monitor had changed. We were getting hints for things we already had done and we were directed to find something in a drawer that was literally not there (the velcro attachment spot was there and it was empty). Needless to say, any time spent on tasks already accomplished really makes it difficult to get out in time. After our time was up, she couldn't find the piece she directed us to find. She wasn't able to tell us what we were missing - just a complete lack of an idea about what we had and hadn't performed up to that point. It really left a bad taste in our mouths at the end on what started as a really fun experience. She didn't have us take a group photo. She didnt get us the link to the follow up game. I would say avoid this one unless you can somehow guarantee your game monitor has an idea what is going on...
Update: This reply couldn't be more wrong. Upon leaving we were brought to our lockers to get our things and not offered anything after, we didnt refuse a team photo. You werent even there when we left, the questionably drunk lady was. "Throwing the clue in another room" is just weird and would love to hear what clue was "thrown in another room". Just own up to the fact that things weren't handled well instead of...

If laughter, brain-twisting puzzles, and a healthy dose of adrenaline are your thing, Room to Escape is the place to be! From the moment we walked in, Cameron, Bruce, and Jess rolled out the red carpet of customer service. They didnât just welcome usâthey made us feel like VIP puzzle-crackers, armed and ready to conquer the impossible.
We took on Cabin in the Storm and Triumph Over Evil, and wowâthese rooms do not mess around. Both were incredibly immersive, packed with clever puzzles that kept us thinking, searching, and second-guessing ourselves at every turn. Cabin in the Storm had us feeling the pressure of being lost forever in the woods, while Triumph Over Evil made us wonder if we were really prepared to face the darkness.
A special shoutout to Cameron, who went above and beyond to make our entire experience amazing. His energy, humor, and kindness made the whole night unforgettable. Bruce and Jess were equally fantastic and made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish.
Bottom line: we had an absolute BLAST. If you love immersive challenges, clever puzzles, and staff who make you feel genuinely welcomed, this is the place. Weâll definitely be backâbecause apparently, we enjoy locking ourselves in...
Read moreA close friend mentioned she wanted to do an escape room for her birthday, so I began looking through all the options here in Fort Wayne. Room To Escape was the only one with a 4.9-star rating, so I called and made a reservation for the Dining Room Caper. Making a reservation was quick and easy, and all my questions were answered without issue. The entire setup from the beginning is incredible. The entrance is large and inviting, and the waiting room is spacious with plenty of games and seating, along with coffee, until your time comes to go to your room. Dining Room Caper was certainly challenging but a ton of fun. The rules were simple and clear, and the room was set up very well without feeling like there was too much going on or not enough. Hints were given quickly and clearly as well. We didn't manage to escape, but it was so much fun that we're planning to go back again soon to try that...
