I really wanted to give them a five star review. I even referred people to them love the vibe I took in a pair of designer shoes to sell. I was told that they had to be authenticated and that it would take 24 hours since it was already end of day, I had brought in some other items and those clothes were ready. Just not the shoes. I went ahead and cash out the clothes and was going to be called the following day to pick up the designer shoes as well as the other shoes that I had brought in I was going to be receiving a call from uptown cheap Skate. I never received a call from them the following day, so I called the very next day I was told that the designer shoes were still not finished and that they would call me when they were not even 20 minutes after that phone call I got an email stating that my items were ready to be picked up, so I went in assuming that it wasn’t the designer shoes and was the other side of shoes that I had brought in. I was wrong. It was the designer shoes I was offered a low price. I declined and asked to have the rest of my items give them back to me I check that box when I but unfortunately, because I didn’t pick the items up the day before, even though they were supposed to call me, they had my number was written down, and I never received a call back. It’s been two weeks now. I was really hoping that someone would reach out to formally apologize or at least let me know that my items were not going to be returned, or in any way make the situation right because even though they didn’t take my items, I still wanted them back. The only reason they weren’t picked up was because I never received a phone call from them if I would’ve known that my items would’ve been donated, I would’ve picked them up the next day. So unfortunately lack of communication on their part I am the one who suffered. I won’t be back just for the fact that they didn’t try to remedy or make the...
Read morePros: it’s clean which is nice for a resale shop. Cons: rude employees, high priced sales, low “cash” offers. Honestly, if I could give it .5 I would solely because as mentioned above, it’s clean. That being said I brought 4 bags of clothes to the store. One bag of large/ extra large women’s clothing, mostly from places like von maur, macys, chicos, etc. I then had a bag of mens mediumish clothes mostly from American eagle, von maur, hollister. And a bag of small women’s clothes mostly were north face, Patagonia, and other high end outdoors clothing. The last bag had some jeans still with tags from macys/ von maur (young women’s) a north face jacket that retails for $120 that was worn 5-6 times in perfect condition. 5 pairs of vans worn 1-4 times and then a few pair of young men’s dress shoes.
They took 36 items and offered me $35 for them. Of the items they purchased I know they took the north face jacket, 2 pairs of vans, the jeans (Buffalo brand) that still had tags on them, and then a few other pair of jeans.
When dropping off the items the lady seemed extremely annoyed with me. When picking up the items the lady seemed even more annoyed with me and just plane rude.
I then took the rest of the bags down to another spot (coliseum and cold water) and they offered me $85 for 15 of the remaining goods that this place didn’t take. I can’t imagine what they would have offered for the stuff this place purchased from me.
I understand that I chose to sell my goods, honestly I figured they were offering what any other place would.
I was wrong, they were rude, and overall I will never return and suggest you...
Read moreThe first time I came here to sell items it was good and I had a great offer anytime. I've been back since I have terrible offers. The one time my clothes were all freshly cleaned but they said there was a perfume sent to it which is probably just my laundry soap and that they wouldn't look at any of it because it had a floral scent. I went to sell items today and they make a very big deal about everything being perfect for you to bring it in I brought my items in in a box folded nicely. When I came back to pick up what they did not want to buy it was just thrown into the box on a shelf in a closet that they have and the girl at the register was having to shove stuff into the box because whoever went through it just had it falling out of the box onto the shelves. So I don't understand how you turn people away for not having their clothes perfect. But then you give stuff back in a very disorderly function. They bought four items from me too, which were pretty much brand new and only offered me $7. And on their social media they made a statement that they only buy to the size 3x but when asked about it they say they buy larger sizes than that. But people don't sell it often. But every item I brought in was a 3X or a 4X and they bought only four pieces. It seems more that they have young people sorting through the items that don't really care about how...
