Would be -5* if it allowed me.
In town two day to work a weekend event. Venue is nextdoor to hotel and shares parking lot with Tims.
Lobby hours stated to open on door at 6am both days. On our stop in for breakfast at 7³⁰ Saturday, and 7¹⁵ Sunday, neither time was the lobby actually open.
Saturday we were lucky enough that there was also an visiting employee locked out of the store waiting to be let in, who offered to let us in and make our food as the drive through staff 'didnt care' (her words).
Today upon arriving, the same two employees inside busting out the drive through, stare at me through the locked door for ten minutes as I knock, confirm the time, and raise my hands like are we open, what's going on? They point to eachother and laugh. After ten minutes I take my place in the only line that exists, wait as the 4 cars ahead are taken care of, and get to the window to try placing am order to be told they wont serve me but if I wait until there are no cars in line (again) they will open the door.
At this pont I've already spent 20 minutes trying to just place an order and the line is only backing up further. I've run out of time to get breakfast, and have crew call in 5.
Thanks for the non-service, if I could rate more negative I would. I can understand being shortstaffed; but would suggest updating your posted hours to reflect what you can actually attain. What is unacceptable however is being mocked by the staff for just wanting to be a customer, and have some breakfast. Wasting ten minutes I didn't have at a locked door as staff try to hide, to then wait again patiently in the drive through, to he told to wait again at the door and refused service is just baffling.
Im aware of the labor shortage, but going to state that if the scheduled staff can't show up and those that do dont feel like working; then the resturant should be shut down. I love Tims, but this has got to he one of the worst experiences I have ever had at one of their locations.
I was told that a Linda is the GM here. Linda if your reading this I've the whole exchange on video and would be happy to...
Read moreIf you're looking for a place with great service and friendly people, this coffee shop might be a good choice for you. However, when it comes to food, it seems that there might be room for improvement. While the snacks are said to be yummy, the food overall is lacking, especially when considering the price.
The environment of the coffee shop is clean and pleasant, which adds to the overall positive experience. The staff is also described as friendly, which can make a big difference in how customers perceive the establishment. In addition, the coffee and snacks are said to be tasty, with the coffee receiving special praise.
However, there are some negative comments about the quality of the coffee. One review states that the Carmel mocha tasted like cold brew coffee with no caramel or mocha flavor. This can be disappointing for customers who are seeking a specific taste or flavor in their coffee.
Overall, it seems that this coffee shop has some great qualities, such as good service, a clean environment, and friendly staff. However, the food could be improved and there may be inconsistencies in the quality of the coffee. If you're looking for a quick snack and a good cup of coffee, this could be a good option, but if you're seeking a full meal or a specific flavor of coffee, you may want to consider...
Read moreI'm leaving an updated review because this place has improved exponentially since my original review in April 2021. I go to this location often (at least once a week, sometimes as much as five times a week). I know they've had staff leave and new people come in based on who I see when I go through the drive thru. The quality in drinks hasn't changed (maybe not my favorite coffee overall, but solid); however today I got the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had from this location. I'm partial to the sausage, egg, and cheese croissants or biscuits, and although they were never awful before, the biscuits tended to be on the dry side and the croissants almost always came out with some burnt spots. It is fast food, though, so expectations aren't insanely high. I'm not sure who was putting the sandwiches together today, but I hope they stay on because my biscuit sandwich was perfect. The biscuit was flaky but not dry, the egg and sausage were both perfectly cooked, and the cheese was melted nicely to hold it all together. I didn't have my receipt in order to give feedback on the Tim Hortons website, but I hope someone sees this and passes along the compliment...
