Westfork Fitness — Attraction in Fort Worth

Some stats: 1) Cleanliness; not only are there lots of cleaning stations that offer wipes but the staff also inspects and wipes down the machines. The bathrooms (can only speak to women’s bathrooms but I’m gonna assume based on that it’s the same) are always clean. Super friendly staff. Open 24/7. 2) Machines; fantastic machines, large variety, as well as mats, yoga balls, stretch bands, always functional, hardly any out of order. You might wait a little to use a machine, but we’re in the month of January. 3) Amenities; I actually haven’t used the showers, steam, sauna room but have peeked at them, seem to always be available and clean. 4) On the personal side; recently had a BBQ/fun day/adopt a dog at the gym, it was held outside on a nice day. I LOVE that they do that for the community, please do more. 5) Trainers; I have been trained with a fantastic trainer for 6 months, shout out to Roger Guajardo, for helping and pushing me to reach my goals. Highly commutative, checks on you and gives feedback along with getting feedback. One of the best gyms I have been to in a long time....

Three stars because I’m not trying to hurt anyone’s business. But I really don’t enjoy this gym. To preface, I’ve spent a range of 20/month to 200/month on gym memberships over the last several years (and only ever leave really due to relocation). This gym is 100/month and every time I walk in I try to figure out why. You can drive 10min down the road to other gyms that are less than half this price, that offer more (much larger facilities, pools, free buddy passes, regular fitness classes, steam rooms, etc). The large price tag on this gym seems to come from the idea of belonging to a “pretty looking” facility where maybe the average-joe doesn’t go (couldn’t help but get the feeling that seems slightly vain). If this gym was half the current price, that would be realistic. I couldn’t justify paying 100/month to walk around a gym of people who are probably all reasonable enough to know deep down that this gym is far overpriced for...

Awesome quality gym with a view of nature! Better equipment, great interior, all kinds of assault cardio equipment and provides other small important things. Such as bands, foam roller, Ab rollers, all kinds of cable attachments and other cool machines that exclude you doing too much setting up. Like a hip thruster machine. And this only the small gym. I’m very sure the big gym coming soon will be even 10 xs better!...
