A buddy of mine was going to a softball show case to watch his good friends daughter play. They are from Idaho, and college coaches from all over were going to be scouting the players. I asked my buddy what time was his friends daughters team playing, that I'd love to bring my 8 year old granddaughter? Long story short, the talent that showed up to this tournament was outstanding! It was exactly what I wanted my granddaughter, who has just started playing softball, to see. The facilities at the Fountain Valley Sports Complex where great. The fields are well taken care of, and very easy to find. As you drive into the complex there is signage directing you to all the fields by they're numbers, and there's a bunch, with plenty of parking. My granddaughter had a ball, and is real excited to start working hard on her game, so she can play as well as the girls we watched on Sunday morning. I'd like to thank the umpire that gave my granddaughter $5, for the five foul balls she ran down and return to him. He was very kind and made a special day for my granddaughter and I even more special....

There wasn't a bad vantage point with the casual festival seating, and there were a few consessioners selling t-shirts and good and beer 🍺
There's a huge and sprawling, meandering complex of parking lots and it still want enough to accommodate everyone who wanted to park, so get there an hour before the shows start so you don't have to hump all of your chairs and picnic items over vast distances - you have been warned.
Also be wary of any food on the ground, as it can be engulfed by (quite literally) legions of ants within just a very few minutes.
Ready access and clean bathrooms, oodles of playgrounds, fields, baseball diamonds, and other special and general purpose areas.
