We have had the distinct delight of frequenting Au Lac on multiple occasions, and the experience has always been marked by an unwavering consistency in both food quality and service. Discovering a dining destination that meets the trifecta of cleanliness, health-consciousness, and delectable flavors is no easy task.
If you find yourself navigating dietary paths such as veganism or gluten-free, or if you're simply inclined towards conscious consumption, often the challenge lies in procuring organic produce and preparing it at home. In my personal experience, the results have typically been satisfactory but not exceptionally tantalizing.
This is where Au Lac steps in and transforms the narrative. It offers a culinary journey that is centered around health and wellness, while not compromising an iota on taste. It is a refreshing reassurance that conscious eating can be a delight to the palate, taking the experience of healthy dining from merely "ok" to remarkably exquisite.
Every dish at Au Lac, from their wholesome soups and appetizers to their main courses and even desserts, brims with unparalleled flavor and imparts a feel-good sensation with every bite. The pricing is reasonable, and the service is commendable, further enhancing the overall dining experience.
This establishment caters beautifully to a wide range of dietary preferences and needs, making it an irresistible destination whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or have no dietary restrictions at all. Their menu is a tantalizing ensemble of culinary masterpieces. Notably, their eggplant dishes, an array of vibrant salads, hearty stews, and the visually stunning rainbow dessert, each demand a special mention for their exceptional flavors.
Au Lac is not just a restaurant; it's a symphony of healthy and delicious cuisine that never fails to impress. No matter your dietary preferences, it stands out as a must-try culinary destination. It elevates conscious dining to a new level, demonstrating that healthy food can indeed be incredibly palatable...

I gotta say first and foremost the decor was def. Fancy pants - loving the blue light fixtures that dims the spot to make it have a more of a romantic feel- great for bringing a date to try something new! Even though I am a vegetarian - not a vegan ( i still love my ice creams and cakes) I don't often come across raw food and frankly I am not even much of a fan of salad so you can imagine my skepticism about giving it a try!
Our server was this cute, soft and sweet young lady. She gave us plenty of great suggestions and even said for "noobs" to Raw food should start of slow and have one cooked dish and one Raw. She highly suggested the cooked glass noodle and the Raw Sushi dish.
I am not much of a fan of glass noodle but that glass noodle came highly recommended and was a favorite of hers, so I had to give it a shot - boy was I impressed! I could of licked the plate clean if it wasn't frowned upon! The Raw Sushi came out and it was ....decent. Instead of rice they replaced it with coconuts. Def. something I had never seen before.
We ordered 3 donut balls and this was probably the most disappointing of the evening. Perhaps we're just not use to it but it was def not what I had imagined ( a perfect example why I am not a vegan, i need my DESSERT to taste yummy) It tasted a lot like red bean and taro -two of my least favorite type of food/dessert, it was also filled with plum honey which didn't make it better! Yea, def would not...
Read moreAu Lac is one of my favorite places for great vegan food and a relaxing atmosphere. This place offers both cooked and live raw vegan items on the menu. Even meat eaters like myself can enjoy vegan dishes with an open mind. Many dishes are also gluten-free.
Food I've tried and enjoyed. • The Chicken Lemongrass has been my go-to, and I recommend it to anyone who still eats meat and wants to try something different but with a familiar taste and texture.
• Yellow Noodles were a delicious bowl of light yet savory mushroom broth, fresh ingredients, a mix of vegan proteins, and thin noodles.
• BBQ "Pork” Roll is a light starter with a tasty peanut sauce.
• Salt & Peppered "Shrimp" - I enjoyed this, and the texture is close to an actual shrimp
• The Paella is a pleasant and tasty surprise, with big slices of avocados and a blend of fresh ingredients.
• Bun No.35 is a refreshing dish that fills you up without feeling heavy. Pour the soy fish sauce over the ingredients and mix well!
• Curried Rice has a cool presentation, and the live food and fresh ingredients are delicious and filling. A few of my friends also enjoyed this dish.
Elixirs, juices, teas, and smoothies can satisfy your taste buds and your body. Vegan desserts are also worth a try. Recently, they added vegan cakes!
The staff and service are always friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal in the chill atmosphere with booth and table seating.
Looking forward to returning and...
