Every time we take a trip to the Rockies/YMCA we visit Lily Lake! It’s is about 0.9 of a mile around and good for bringing a stroller for those with little ones! Very easy for all ages! There is a .8 mile loop around the lake that is very flat so a good place for the non-athletic or avid hiker. However there are longer loops for those looking for more of a challenge. Read moreAmple parking and available, clean bathrooms were a godsend after an hour and half car ride. Being my first time, I should have dressed more appropriately for the climate. Take a jacket! It's very windy and with the coolness coming off the lake and surrounding mountains, it can get chilly. No matter how sunny it is. It's a beautiful, easy, scenic walk. I don't think there's any bad views, hiking trails or bad pictures one could take in the Rocky Mountains....
