I bought three “SONA MASOORI” rice bags from this store on Monday (1/16/2023) and to the shock of my life, when I cooked them, they are not sona masoori but are same as the fat grains of rice that we get in Ration quota in India. It is really frustrating to see the management of this store, stoop down to such a level of selling low quality goods to the customers by taking the price of higher quality. I have always had issues with this store management. The last time I visited, they have removed all the price labels, to make the customer unaware of the prices which they increase according to their wish. It’s really sad that customer remains unaware of the original prices and have to pay for the prices set by the store management. Besides the owners, even the tall guy with spectacles, who is at the billing is reckless, always on call while billing and does not respond properly when we ask him...
Read moreI limited going here because of high prices after the management change sometime ago. But today I am really shocked by the way how they are deliberately not labeling the prices of the veggies compelling the customers to purchase at checkout as we have spent enough time picking and bagging the veggies with out realizing they doubled the price. When I asked the in charge person to please label the prices so we will decide before picking them he was giving me all sorts of reasons to not label saying low staff, will do tomorrow and repeatedly asking me to call his manager to inform him about labeling the prices(it seems like the owner does not want to label them). Buyers please ask the price of veggies before bagging them if you do not see the price label. Attaching today’s receipt for your reference. The price of Tindora is 5.99$ lb. I would have not bag them if I am...
Read moreThis place used to be good but since the last 1 year there is a decline in the quality of their fresh produce section.
They have a tendency to keep expired stuff in the rotis/bread section. I once accidentally purchased a pack of rotis which had expired more than a month ago, and it had mold growing inside.
Twice I have bought curd from here (which was not expired) and it turned out to be curdled from inside. Baffling how a product meant to be a cold storage can curdle, essentially means they have poor cold storage. A lot of times their cold storage doesnt work properly, the ice creams melt inside anf they re freeze it, resulting in mishaped icy ice creams.
You need to find the days when fresh groceries come else you get really stale vegetables.
It is good for packcaged non fresh products, they have a very good variety but otherwise...
