Went to the cafe to have breakfast with my husband and my mom. We asked for some items in the menu and the person taking the order didn’t seem to know how to explain the dishes. After picking our options, he read the order to make sure it was complete. We payed and sat to wait. There were 6 people behind the counter and the place was empty but they took forever to bring the food, when it came was really good except for the fruit side of my husband’s sandwich that was a plastic wrapped apple and that I needed to go to the counter and ask for a fork and knife because the server delivered the food with out cutlery. But my mom’s tea never came so we asked for it and they came with a copy of the receipt saying they didn’t include it (after reading the whole order to make sure everything was correct and even ask which type of milk did she wanted for it). By the time we left my husband said thanks and wish them to have a good day, every single person behind the counter at that time looked at him and returned to their tasks without a single word. I can take bad service and bad beverages but I can’t take people being rude. Awful place, never...
Read moreI was just sitting in the coffee shop not an hour ago, and the manager (she may be the owner as well) came over to me and got very very angry with the fact that I had taken a drink from my water in my water bottle, that was in my bag. I'm not even sure its legal to deny customers access to drinking water,. Though I tried to support them for years, I no longer will be. The food was always sub-par including the coffee - theres something a little gross about the taste of the cold brew. But in general, you don't treat your customers like that. Period.
I had been a loyal supporter of B-Sisters for years and I like supporting the little guy for the most part. I like the service staff that works there and it was quiet when i went there, thats why I liked it.
I'd just avoid going there and go across the street to startbucks or whole foods. Its quiet, the wi-fi is better... and they dont yell at your for drinking your own water in the...
Read moreThis shop is in a great location and has a lot of potential. I always drive by and finally stopped in to try it out. I ordered an iced Dulce de leche latte that was basically plain coffee with caramel drizzle on the whip cream. It should have at least had some caramel pumps or syrup in the drink! It tasted very bitter, not sure if the coffee was brewed too long. A total rip off for the cost, which by the way, the drinks ring up for more than the price they have listed on the menu! I asked for a different drink instead and the barista looked visibly annoyed but he did make me a chai. I figured you can’t mess that up but I was wrong! It tasted like milk with some cinnamon in it. Not sure if that’s how they usually make it or if he just gave me more milk because I had irritated him? I also ordered a strawberry Nutella crepe which was very small! My crepe and small drink came to $17! Anyway, don’t waste your time coming here! Pricey...
