Fun to see the old ski designs, read about bringing Alpine skiing to the USA, seeing history of Jean Claude Killy (?) Michaela Schaefer, Bodi Miller? Info on the various ski resorts, Cannon, Mittersille, etc from early opening in the late 1800s to today. And watch the action documentary short "Fall Line" one of the trailblazers for that genre... I'm not a skier, so I'm sure if you are you'll enjoy it more, was small gem next door to the tram, and near the trails to the Old Man of the Mountain historical sites etc. FREE but worth the $5 DONATION to keep it staffed and upkeep. Staff was very helpful about the area too, better than the official state staff in most places

Small museum focused on the various facets of ski triumphs in the region. From skiers training members of the Army to Bode Miller. A Missolini sword is on display. The lady working there was super kind and helpful, showing us maps and local area attractions.

Small but lots of interesting ski history to browse. I love this kind of quick museum visit especially with my impatient kids.

A must-see when you're in the White Mountains. Even if you're not a skier this is a wonderful and fun museum to visit and the kids will enjoy it, too! And if you are a skier, it's a goldmine of information and great ski-related gifts, book, CD,...
