The best part was visiting the nearby Rudolf W. Van Der Goot Rose Garden, where I enjoyed walking among the beautiful roses.
The garden is well-maintained and has a variety of roses in different colors and shapes. The smell of the roses was heavenly, and I felt relaxed and refreshed.
The garden is free to enter, and there is a bike rack where you can park your bike. If you want to take professional photos, you need to get a permit, but otherwise you can enjoy the garden as much as you want.

I don't know all the plants, but I know when I see roses and there is at least a dozen or so variety of different ones throughout this garden. There are other plants as well and a little pond, where the lilies grow and lovely little visitors look for bugs to enjoy their meal. The space is very well maintained thanks to volunteer gardeners. You’ll find a vast variety of flowers (mainly roses) and plants that are all tagged with their names and helpful botanical info.
