I have been to this location multiple times. Almost had our wedding here. I was just recently here for a holiday party and not sure what the mix-up was. The food was subpar. The meats were dry, mash potatoes are instant potatoes, and the roll that was served was stale and has been in the freezer too long as the bun was dry and crumbly. I couldn't even finish what was served. Toward the end of dinner, they started to clean up tables... as in the remove table and chairs that guests were using, so there was room to dance. Which is kinda rude and poor planning. Then the workers started to remove glassware so they could do dishes and if we wanted water to get water from the bar. Mind you, people were still eating. Yall might as well just stick to plastic if that is the case. I ended up using the bathroom and overheard a worker, saying the food is catered and they plan to kick everyone out at 11 pm. Now the place is beautiful beside the old floral chairs. They host many different events. The ballroom is not big enough for 150 plus people. The entry hallway is beautiful and perfect for a ceremony. They have a "green" room filled with historics. There's even an upstairs area for the bridal party to use to get ready for their day. I knew food was catered because it was one of the down falls of why we didn't have our wedding here and that they are a year or two booked in advance for weddings. I am not sure what has happened, but it was kind of a letdown. It's totally fine to use catering services, but at least put out business cards so the food representation doesn't give the building a bad name for food. Also, the catering was not enough food/ food options. People were still hungry by the end...

We had my daughter and her fiance's couples wedding shower here on June 22, 2025 for 46 people. It was amazing! We wanted a venue with some outdoor space and they have a beautiful patio. Unfortunately it was too hot for us to go outside, but the large windows on that wall brought the beauty indoors. We had a lot of natural light. We worked with Jennifer Halser and she made sure everything was perfect. We talked a few times before so she knew just what we wanted and everything was all set up when we arrived to decorate. The cook, Grant, made an amazing Italian buffet for us. The food was to die for! Bonnie, Jerry, and Tina all served the buffet and made sure everyone's plates were cleared as we were eating. I wasn't expecting such wonderful service. They plated the cannoli's I brought in from another venter for us. They also packed up all the left over food into containers we brought and it was all ready on a cart for us to load up at the end of the party. JJ, the bartender, went above and beyond as well. He even walked around while we were dining to make sure everyone had a drink that wanted one. As far as the venue itself, it's just beautiful, very clean and updated with lots of natural light. They really made the shower stress free for me and I'm still getting compliments. The Polish Community Center is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a wedding venue or place to host a...

My husband and I had the pleasure of having our wedding at the Polish Center on September 20, 2025. We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue to host our wedding. The staff were very accommodating, the building is so clean and well- thought out. We had the entire building for the day and we comfortable fit ~150 people.

You walk in to the most beautiful chapel/ main hall that oversees a pond and fountain. The patio area is beautiful and well kept. The reception area is cozy, has a large tv for slideshows, photos, etc. Additionally, the second floor balcony oversees the reception area. The entire building is filled with rich Polish History, and the bridal room is set up to have great lighting and space for hair, makeup, etc.

For having such a beautiful venue on a Saturday in one of the busier times of the year for weddings, it was an excellent value and my husband and I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend The Polish Center of WI for...

I love the Polish Center, but especially the library here. Yesterday I came in about an hour until closing to search for books specific to Poles and Catholicism in Milwaukee- I was honest and told the women working that I had an essay due at midnight (that day)! They were beyond helpful in finding me resources and were very informative. They even informed me of a scholarship that I could apply for! I did get my paper in on time, all thanks to the lovely workers in the library here. They sell books (in Polish and English), movies, and even vinyl disks. Worth the visit 100%. I ended up borrowing books from the library but purchased a good amount of media as well- and my total only came up to $4.50! They only take cash though, so be prepared!
