Let me start with saying it's a Sunday and a lot of wineries close early. My husband and I didn't want to be "that" couple and show up for a tasting right at close so I called the winery to see if they allow walk-ins and double check that they were open till 7. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and stated that reservations are encouraged for large groups and even if we didn't have one we wouldn't be turned away. Just ignored till you walk out...
We walked in behind a group of 3 older people at around 5 pm. The two girls behind the bar didn't greet my husband or me when we walked in or ask if we wanted to do a tasting. It was only after I walked around the group of 3 that the dark headed girl asked if she could help us. I stated that we wanted to do a tasting. The girl instructed us to have a seat at the table and she'd bring glasses over. She never came over nor did the other girl to help us. I thought maybe she forgot so I got up from my table to look at the outdoor area and looked at the bar to see the girl just looking at us. Again, never came over and after 10 minutes I told my husband I was done and I wanted to leave. Walking out the girl that was supposed to help us was walking towards the back of the building like there was nothing else to do.
My suggestion is you may want to get rid of the girl working the bar with the dark hair. She's very unwelcoming and seemed to not care at all about...
Read moreMy wife and I came here for our 10 yr anniversary we stayed at the resort on the property no issue with the rooms I think its run by third party company but the winery employees where rude. Since we where staying at the resort we wanted this place be our last stop of the day and buy another wine..As soon as we get there the host first seated a couple ahead of us took then to a seats then when she came back went straight to the couple that came in few minutes after us first and almost skip us. The couple told her we where here waiting first. After telling the host we wanted a taste test and then we where going to eat also to try there food. She gave us a look like if we could even afford it. We choose to sit outside to enjoy the view. Told us someone will be with us soon. After minute or so later she came back with the other couple right after us. And the waiter didn't even talk with us or the first couple. The waiter talked with last couple took their order and continued talking with them for 10 minutes or so. The first couple before us ended up leaving and we followed and left also. We felt unwelcome. They need to work on their customer service heavy. If I had saw the review before hand i would have never pick this place to try. By the looks of it they have history of doing this and they only been...
Read moreDisappointed is an understatement. We came here through a pre-booked tour and based on the previous reviews/photos it looked like it would be a positive experience. To start, we were provided a complementary 1oz tasting as we walked in. Then we were taken to a table inside the building which has no charm, just tv's everywhere with sports on. Did not get to experience the outdoor set-up and live music. Our waiter/server didn't know that we were pre-booked. Once we established that and picked the seasonal tasting menu, he came around with a bottle and started pouring ~1oz pours in each glass. He never explained what we were drinking and then walked off and was gone for 10 minutes. This repeated several times and 2 people in our party never got to taste all of the wine they paid for. He came back at the very end and said "sorry I really dropped the ball and ruined your experience here"...then smiled. Nobody offered to comp us or provide anything to make up for it. This place completely ruined our buz from the first winery. We each ended up with maybe 1/2 a glass of wine in total and couldn't tell you what we tried. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Don't base your visit off of the pictures...
