Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Fredericksburg

Apparently, propane is an issue for this location. I looked online before coming to the store, and it said there were 3 20# tanks in stock. When I went through the checkout the checker, who I guess was just there to do a return for the guest before me, told me that people don't usually like his line because he charges an extra $10 because he doesn't get paid enough. I assume it was a joke and played along... Then I asked about a propane tank. He told me I would have to go out and check. "He can't tell me off the top of his head." (Which is fair, I don't expect employees to have inventory memorized!) Then he said after I check you out, you can go check. I need to go help someone else! I was incredibly annoyed! And almost abandoned my purchase all together! After the purchase was complete, WITHOUT the main item I came in for, because it was too much of an inconvenience for the team members to help me, he came outside and highfived a fellow team members who had been outside helping a customer! I am incredibly disappointed! And now I have to find somewhere else...

I like my home town Tractor Supply. I went in looking for a new chainsaw and after researching different brands I chose Husqvarna. I have always been a Stihl guy, I mean my family has owned Stihl for over 50 years. But, I spent some time in Costa Rica working with guys that used Husqvarna and was impressed with the power and cutting speed of the saw. What I liked about Tractor Supply is they carry all of the parts needed to do maintenance on the saw as well as chains, oil. Plus, I like the fact that the store was quite. I can't stand store with blaring pop music while I'm trying to shop. I wish more store would follow the Tractor...

5 stars for Sam who patiently reviewed feed for quail and then scoured the store for a brooder that was on clearance (after being told by Chris (sp?) that if it wasn't in that spot it was out. When I asked her to check inventory on the computer, it said 2 in stock). The 1 star is for listening to her complain about an unfinished job that someone left in an aisle, not appearing eager to go the extra mile, and then only offering 10% discount on an unmarked garden item where similar items were 50% off. You lost that sale.

Very disappointed in the price hike of hay. $12.19 sale on Bermuda is outrageous for...
