Everyone here was super nice!

Food & Wine: Apparently there’s a New Year’s Day tradition to share black eyed peas and cabbage & cornbread. When I walked in they handed me some and not only was it delicious, it was a gift. 😍🥰

Shop: There’s apparel, trinkets, vending, and a whole assortment of fun things to spend money on for yourself or as gifts. This added to the experience vs detract from it, it wasn’t ONLY their shirts being sold, you know?

Amenities: We came with a couple couples and had our puppies 🐶 with us, and they couldn’t come inside. Additionally, the seating outside was limited I’m assuming due to the holiday or staffing so we were a bit disappointed by that, but I would not dock the experience for that because of the assumed limitations and having more of an upscale interior feel.

Location: Being only 6 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, it’s in the best possible spot for people driving, camping, or weekending.

Summary: I don’t drink so the wine 🍷 tasting is lost on me, however everyone else enjoyed it and the place has a welcoming vibe.

This place would be better if they didn't have antiquated rules on dogs.

My reply to the owners reply: It is absolutely fair, to me. In town, most non-food places and most wineries allow dogs that have a massive range of merchandise on display. Perhaps if you had the Michelangelo's David on display. My theory is y'all just don't like dogs, which is fine. But it is also fine for me to think it is ludacris that in a tourist town y'all can't come to terms tons that people travel with their dogs and they don't want them to be left in the vehicle running. It is also fine for me to give a 1 star rating because of my strongly held belief on dogs in public. Our dogs are not service dogs but their obedience training is akin to the level of service dog training. We don't have kids, thankfully, yet they often behave more poorly than dogs yet they're allowed. So, sorry not sorry that my devastating rating is not a positive reflection of your products or staff but when our dogs go with us on vacations and they are disallowed for a seemingly unknown, valid reason I will think poorly of...

This place is beautiful. The lady there was very nice. I bought my pair of boots, great quality and price; it was a great acquisition. There are many styles of jeans, jewelry, clothes, etc etc. The only thing that was uncomfortable after I bought my beautiful pair of boots was 3 security guys around me all the time; maybe that's fair enough if people are stolen there, they need to protect their store...is their business, I can understand that...but it was very uncomfortable to have people around you while I was trying to buy something else... Definitely, I declined buying more the same day. I mean, It would be a great idea if they have a security guard in an office checking the securities cameras instead of being walking around of behind...
