This is the barbershop that I've been looking for.
Before moving to Fremont a few years back, I was getting my haircut down in Millbrae for close to 6 years. After moving to Fremont I was not about to do the drive to Millbrae anymore. I tried 3 different barbershops and 4 different barbers, but nothing felt right. Inconsistent cuts between sessions, wonky scheduling, and just low self esteem for two weeks until I get my next cut that hopefully is better than the last. After 3 months and 6 bad haircuts, I started going back to Millbrae for my cuts. Things only changed once I found the Company Barber and got to know the owner, Rob.
Rob and his team are professional, reasonably priced, and just fun to be around. I've been going to Rob for over a year now and can confidently say he is the best barber I have ever had. He understands what I want without me even having to say it, and is done with my haircuts in less than thirty minutes. At first I was like "wait how can he cut this quick? Did he cut corners?". Nope. No, nope, nah. With the amount of experience he has cutting hair between his other gigs, Facebook/Meta, and now at his shop, he has it locked in. So I get a great cut quickly, and all before work.
I usually get my cuts early at 7AM via Schedulicity. The interface is transparent and easy to see what he has available in the next days/weeks/months. I recommend scheduling your haircuts every 2-3 weeks, and do it ahead of time on the app. It'll make sure you always have a consistent time to go in (and it's easier to keep your hair shape if you go in on a regular interval).

The second time I came, I went with Luis C., who, first of all, double-booked my appointment and made me wait 30 minutes while he cut someone else's hair. Then he took me on and proceeded to spend 15 minutes on my hair without fully understanding what I wanted. At the end, he demanded $ 65 for a 15-minute service, whereas online I booked a $40 haircut for a 30-minute service. He was also extremely rough with my hair and pulled a lot of hair out from my hairline, causing redness and burning + hairloss at my hairline. I explained to him that I booked the 40 dollars for 30 minutes, but he did not listen to me and became angry and very aggressive, forcing me to pay 65 dollars and making me feel unsafe. Read moreI had a haircut appointment with Robert. When I showed up all of the barbers were busy so I figured I would wait for my turn. After waiting 20-25 min, Robert comes out of the back and takes a customer who just showed up and informs me that I missed my appointment even though I had been sitting waiting for basically the entirety of my appointment. A complete waste of time and I was treated like my time was worthless even though I had already spent almost 30 min waiting.
