This used to be one of my favorite eateries for few years when it was just a hole in the wall. Since they have opened their bigger restaurant next door, I have gone there a few times, and each time, the quality of food and service seem to degregade compare to the time before. We went there again yesterday, and that is definitely going to be the last time. The food quality was mediocre at best for the price they charge, and we couldn't wait to finish our meal and leave as soon as possible, for the smoke from the kitchen and the odor of burnt chicken fat had filled the entire place. The service was extremely bad. When we first arrived, they told us that the table would be cleared in 5 minutes. That took 25 minutes instead, and while people were standing and looking annoyed, the busboy was standing in the kitchen, chatting away with one of the cooks. When we finally objected, the waitress got very testy and told us that others have been waiting for close to an hour (fantastic logic that left us totally flabbergasted). To top this "great service" off, when they brought us the bill, they had charged us an additional 10 dollars for no reason, and when I took the bill to the waitress to go over it, without me even saying anything, she automatically said that she had made a "mistake!!!!". We were so disappointed and upset that not only they didn't offer any apoligies for the horrible customer service, but on top of that they displayed such dishonesty, hoping that people would not notice and pay! I would recommend to stay away from this place, and if you still decide to go, check your...

I've eaten here before on occasion for a while and have had okay experience with the food . But today I got the beef kabab and rice. immediately after the food I felt like I need to vomit. Luckily it didn't go that far some breathing and relaxing calmed my stomach down, but still feeling it. I came back to add this 5 hours later: now I have the runs and hopefully it's out and done.

The Kebab always tasted like Natural Gas smell mixture but today it was a little more than usual. I'm just writing this so that the owner or people in charge see it hopefully they'll do something about whatever may be causing this.

I also did see when they were putting the kebab in the container and done with somebody came back with an extra piece of meat and put it in container they were closing up for me. I don't know, I don't know, maybe they're getting rid of bad meat one piece at a time...i don't know... I doubt if I can go back again for a while at least a year. And you know what, I know I'm 100% right about how I feel and how it's related to...

I gave this place a try because someone said it was really good. Walked in, asked to sit outside, and was told it was ok. A good 20 minutes went by, and multiple peeking into the door and tried to get the waiters' attention. No water, no plates, nothing was given. A guy walked up, and he sat outside. His table was wiped clean, water given, and plate given with a menu. The waiter then turns to look at us and then walks away. Still nothing at this point. There were only TWO tables inside the restaurant, so he clearly wasn't busy. I was ready to walk out but really wanted to try the food and give them a chance. Finally, after asking multiple times, a waiter comes out and takes our order. Dumplings tasted like hamburger helper. The leek pastry was ok. Greasy, but ok. The tri tip kabobs were good. Tender and flavorful. Would I come here again? No, because of the terrible service. If the service was ok, I would have given them another try. Thumbs...

We are at this place by 7:50 PM Tuesday. No much waiting time but all tables are full. We seated and ordered by 8 PM as we already know what to order. Bodinjon Borani - Eggplant Appetizer Murgh Kabob - Chicken dish Quabili Pallow - Lamb Shank dish Baklava and Sheer Yakh - Sweet Out of the above 4 items - Murgh Kabob was delicious and must try and also sweet Baklava For vegetarians- Bodinjon Borani must try is soo melting in mouth. Lamb shank I rate 4/10. Sheer Yakh dessert must try item Poor service- we got order by 40 minutes They totally forgot that we ordered desserts and we need to remind them again and again. I asked why they are late and they replied we are busy But I see there was only 2 families sitting in restaurant. Please see attached images.

This place is SO good! Been coming here for years and the food is just as good as ever. First of all the service is excellent; servers Masoud and Nawid were just incredible people - super kind and helpful. The cooking staff - David, Yadira, and Judith are also so friendly and talented at what they do. The lamb under rice is always melt off your fork tender. The bolani is crispy and moist and just a little bit spicy, which goes perfectly with the tart yogurt. And the Mandu 🥟 were delicious and unique from Asian dumplings. Portions are very generous and we always have leftovers. My wife and I love this place and highly recommend it!!!

De Afghanan Fremont - Flavor Bomb! Chicken tikka kabob was insanely juicy and tender, perfectly charred and seasoned. And that beef chapli kabob, melt-in-your-mouth delicious with a complex blend of spices... But hold onto your hats, folks, because the bolani stole the show! 🤤 Packed with leeks and paired with their tangy, homemade yogurt dipping sauce, it was a flavor explosion! That yogurt is the perfect sidekick to the savory filling, creating a taste sensation that'll leave you wanting more...De Afghanan is a MUST-TRY!
