Located in North Fresno, on Perrin ave. Woodward Park Regional Library is very big, clean, and has an arsenal of information and equipment for public use. Open Monday-Thursday 9am-9pm Friday&Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 12:00pm-5pm. There is a very spacious patio as well as a kids section. Plenty of computers and fax/copy machines. Free WiFi is also offered. This location also offers plenty of free classes such as guitar lessons, tai-chi, yoga and mediation as well as story time for children. This library is more of a learning and education institution rather than your average library. Why spend $50,000 on an education that u can get for free??

Librarians here are fantastic. Very helpful and kind. The best place in the planet. This place helped me pass my nursing board exam coming from the Philippines. They will help you every step of the way on becoming successful in whatever field you choose. I highly recommend this library. They are excellent and they work above and beyond! May God bless this place.

This is the best place in the world. Whoever created a display about lead poisoning is genius. I didn’t know the cups my kids got from their great grandparents had so much lead in them! I’m sure whoever created this display has helped soooo many other kids as well. The library literally gives free life changing advice and knowledge.

This library is nice and big! Lots of places to study and read. They have a wide variety of books and genres. The only downside in my opinion is the NOISE LEVEL.

People come in and don’t even try to whisper and the librarians don’t say anything. I guess the library is the kick it spot for some people, but It’s quite rude, honestly. There are private rooms available to rent. I feel as though if a group comes in and they know they are going to talk amongst themselves then they should rent a room to separate themselves from the work tables and desks.

There are rooms to study in, but most of the time they’re full. I would like to see more tables in there. In addition, the quiet room is significantly colder than the rest of the library.

I would give this location 5 stars if they had some rules of order in place in...

So grateful to live near this branch of the Fresno libraries! The staff are always friendly and will go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. They have wonderful programs each week/month for kids, teens, and adults. Lots of resources beyond books and media both in the library and online. They have study rooms you can reserve for free and you can make copies and print for a nominal fee. I also really appreciate that they are a collection location to recycle batteries and lightbulbs. They even have a section of used books for sale year round with the proceeds benefiting our excellent library system. So whether you’re 3 or 93, or anywhere in between this is a great...

This was the first time I visited Woodward Park Library (Brews and Vine event). The parking is great, in the front and behind the library. It is the nicest branch I have been at in Fresno: lots of light, outdoor patio, a great variety of books to choose from and amazing staff. There are also areas that are more secluded where you can work or read quietly.

Natural light... Did I mention natural light? It felt like it was coming from everywhere as if you are standing on cloud surrounded by open space (no, I am not on any illegal substances, just loved the atmosphere).

I will certainly come back there on my lunch break since I work only...
