RiverView Shopping Center — Local services in Fresno

First I would like to say that I helped build this shopping center so there's some pride there for me. Every time I go there is takes me back 20 years. I gave it 4 stars simply because it's well rounded. There's is something for everyone here. Lots of shopping, everything from big box stores to trendy little boutique shops. There is a large variety of food choices too, everything from cheap and quick to fine dining. There's a nice patio area with tables and chairs that aren't associated with any shops that you can just sit and hang out at. The patio area is open but it's considered a non smoking area. The is ample security on site driving, on Segway patrol and also walking around. I go here all the time to hang out and shoot street photography. There is always a great mix of people around and I've never had anybody get hostile even when they asked me to delete a photo. Lassens is no longer here. This store permanently closed down. I mean it was healthy, but pricey, so usually these kinds of stores don't last. If it's healthy and it helps people then why jack up the prices for? McDonald's is not so healthy, but they always have the best price, so thats why so many people love to go there. Its fast, convenient and good for some, but do you see many drive-thru's with healthy food and good prices? No, and yet we are expected to eat healthy. Help us, by actually helping us and not secretly destroying us. The only reason I came to this place this day was for the Back to Nature cookies that I found and loved! But I will continue to venture for them...

So disappointed, a close friend of mine (handicapped) took my dad (handicapped) and another friend (you guessed it handicapped) on his certified handicapped golf cart to the farmers market so they shop together. They ended up in an altercation with the management of the farmers market for using his golf cart. The management told them to park the golf cart and walk. It did not matter to them that the golf cart is considered a pedestrian vehicle or that one of the passengers CANNOT walk. This is so distressing that they treated 3 handicapped...
