We visited the Marker in the beginning of May, 2023. Although it was kind of a fun place to visit. The area and attractions seem to be falling into disrepair. Nobody was around to talk to about anything. But it was still a fun thing to visit and snap a few pictures.

Around the corner from Cars on the Route you'll see the police car lifted in the air and then a bunch of Route 66 murals and Cars movie related stuff like Luigi's and tipped tractor cutouts. All making super cute photo ops. Worth the stop.

This is a great place to stop if your on a road trip with kids. Been to the “Cars on the Route” a few times. And is a great place for small kids. It may even be worth the time for adults just to drive by and check it out.

As others have shared, it is a bit run down on the North side but still a good visit. There are gifts shops and a few museums in town, plan in advance as the hours and days open can be odd. The route 66 marker on the map is just a road sign, but with a little driving you will...
