All Stars Sports Academy Skate Palace — Attraction in Galesburg

I went there for the first time today! I was very excited and I love the DJ who was playing! Great vibes all around.

The one thing that bummed me out was the flooring as I was skating and the lack of wall support. I’ve been skating multiple times in the past and the floors were usually wooden or completely level. Here, it was duct taped over, with roping sections only along some portions of the wall; this made it rather hard to go across one end to another as my skates kept getting stuck as I was trying to convince my body that “YES. YOU CAN BALANCE!” My skate wheels kept getting caught in the cracks as I was going too slow.

Tried giving this place a fair shot — came three separate times with my two kids. Every time, there was a rude lady working who made us feel unwelcome for no reason.
