I would NEVER suggest this place! When we got there, there were two employees (a guy and girl) and no customers. (I'm saying they weren't busy or packed). Sign out front advertised two large pizzas (for $15.99 I think, but the price wasn't the issue). I told the girl we wanted to order two large pizzas and she hatefully said "we don't have large pizzas". I told her what the sign outside said and she said it's just one size. I asked if I could see the size of the pan to get an idea what the size was. She made a small circle with her hands and said it has 8 slices. I asked her again if I could see the size of the pan so I would know if it was enough for our group. She acted put out, took two steps to pick up the pan and showed me. I told her that would work and went on to place my order. We ordered one supreme and one pepperoni with extra cheese. Again, she acted put out and hatefully said, "we don't do extra cheese". I thought that was odd (and rude) and she offered no explanation...just a put out, blank stare! We also ordered 4 corny dogs that were advertised 2/$1. She said our pizza would take about 25 minutes or so. We paid for the pizza and corny dogs and sat down to wait. After about 45 minutes or so, we started to smell something (like pizza burning). The guy came out from the back and said just a few more minutes. He came out with the pizzas and corny dogs about 5 minutes later. I opened the pizza boxes and YEP!, the pizzas were black and charred on one half of both pizzas. I told him they look burned to me. He said, "they aren't burned, they just look dark. That's how they look". I told him dark IS burned. Not only were they burned, but they were frozen DiGiorno pizzas!!!!! By this time, we had already been there an hour. An hour too long! The corny dogs were microwaved. Who eats microwaved corny dogs?? The same nobody's that don't eat burned pizzas!!!! We ended up throwing away 1 whole pizza along with the corny dogs. DiGiorno, REALLY??? if I had known that we could've picked up our own at the Big Store and cooked ourselves and it wouldn't have...
Read moreWas excited about the Blue Bell ice cream, but discovered that was the only good quality. I just wanted two scoops of ice cream and so did my sister. My brother in law wanted a milkshake. They had no flavors on the board so you had to wait until you got to the counter to have any idea of what they had. Once I got my two scoops, the girl gave me my cup and the entire outside of the cup had icecream on it so I had to get a napkin to wipe it all off. I then look inside and there are three VERY small scoops that doesnt even go above the top of the cup. My sister, who got the exact same ice cream and two scoops, go only two of the very small scoops. On the board it said 2 scoops is $4.75. I was already annoyed at the small amount of ice cream for this price. As they get my brother in law's milkshake, they are PACKING his 24oz cup full of ice cream and a milkshake is only $5.50. Huge discrepancy there. Then I go to check out and the man rings me up for $5.00 and not $4.75. I asked him about it and he said the board is just wrong and it's actually $5.00, but didnt honor the price they had written publicly. He then gave me an excuse that it's because a specific staff member wasn't there. But its chalk board, so literally anyone who can write can do it. My wife also notice that the handling of the icecream scoops was not very sanitary compared to other icecream shops we've been to. I'm not giving them any credit for the amazing ice cream because that's Blue Bell's, not theirs. Everything else was a poor experience. Just go buy your own tub of icecream and save yourself a lot of trouble and DEFINITELY save money. Won't be coming here again and wouldn't...
Read morePlace is clean with a very island feel. Pizza is basic. Probably a frozen crust they just add toppings to. Not the worst, but nothing to write home about.
Margaritas are horrible. We had the standard one, lime. We didn't have their daiquiri so maybe those are better? Not sure what others standards are for alcoholic beverages but these are bad and I usually buy cheap booze. I'm pretty sure they use everclear or some type of cheap grain alcohol instead of tequila. It doesn't taste right and they use way too much. I'm all for getting the best bang for the buck but this is a bit much. I'd highly recommend getting a small to start as they are incredibly potent. Personally, I found mine to be un-drinkable and threw away a $9 drink.
They do have Blue Bell and that's a plus!
Also, dogs are only allowed at the ground level. No dogs are allowed on their upper deck or in the restaurant. Not a knock on them for that just letting others know. You can eat at a table on the ground level with your pup.
3 stars for it being clean and the food...
