Hardcore Computers, LLC — Attraction in Garden City

First, I never write reviews, but I really wanted to share my thoughts on Hardcore Computers. I had some issues with my PC a few months ago - a fan barring gave out and almost caught my PC on fire. I was luckily in the room when it started smoking and caught it before it became a bigger issues. I like to think I know a bit more than average about computers, but still have some to learn, but I was 100% sure I had pinpointed the issue to being the fan but wanted someone who works on computers a lot to double check and make sure that this was the issue and what almost caught on fire.

I had called another business and the person on the phone was incredible condescending and rude to me. I explained I knew what the issue was and just wanted a second set of eyes on it, but they literally told me "I don't know what you want me to do about it" and "fans don't catch on fire". They literally wouldn't help me when I had pinpointed the issues but over the phone was treated like I didn't know what I was talking about. Then I found Hardcore Computers - David was very helpful, confirmed my fan was the problem, and changed it out in less than an hour so I was up and running the next day. It was nice to talk to someone who listened to me and my concerns, and helped me remedy it.

I am currently working on upgrading my PC's CPU and Mobo, and David chatted with me over the phone and helped me figure out what upgrades would work for my computer and what I need to look into. Once my parts are ordered, I'll be taking them in for install. I will definitely be coming here for any of my computer needs and I highly recommend...

Buying a computer from David at Hardcore Computers is the best computer buying experience I have ever had. I found David when I was looking for computer repair shops, and noticed that he had great reviews and comments about good prices on computers. Before I could take my laptop in to get fixed, however, it died. I started looking for a new one at Best Buy and Office Max, and I also went to Amazon and Tiger Direct. I haven't bought a computer for a long time and was pretty shocked at the prices. Fortunately, Hardcore Computers rescued me! When I went in, David asked me what I would be using the computer for, then showed me three laptops and explained all the features. I'm not very techie, but he made me feel right at home as I was considering my choices. He wasn't pushy, and I got a slightly used laptop for a much better deal than I would have gotten at a regular retail store. He has a very good warranty, so that helped my decision. I was on the hunt for a GPU, like so many of us out there. Looking online, private sellers, etc. Called around to some local joints, and started bothering these fellas a week ago. They informed me they had a 3070ti coming in that day or the day after, called a couple more times and I believe it was David I was speaking to (really bad w/names) and offered to take my number and give me a call when it came in. I got said call, and came out w/a brand new 3070 ti for my setup. He didn't have to do that, someone would've bought that thing in no time. But he did and I am so happy with my purchase. My new build is finally complete!!! The elephant in the room, was it what I wanted to pay? Of course not, but this is the current market and I accepted that. It's NOT their fault, it's just the way it is and I'm still grateful & it was worth it. That thing is shredding what I'm throwing at it. Thank you guys!
