Extremely Disappointed and Concerned â Avoid This Store!
I am absolutely appalled by the level of customer service and basic food safety at Harvest Fresh Market. This is supposed to be a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean grocery store, but their practices are anything but professional.
On multiple occasions, I called their store four times regarding a product I purchased that was already expired on the shelves. I bought it on June 29th, and the expiration date was June 21stâmeaning they sold me expired food that had been sitting there for over a week. This is a serious health and safety issue.
Each time I called, the staff took my name and number, promising that the supervisor, Ali, would call me back. That never happened. The customer service representative didnât even apologize or offer a proper solution. They showed zero concern for my health or my complaint.
I waited several days expecting a refund or follow-up, but nothing came. When I called again recently, I was put on hold to speak with the manager, only to have the call abruptly disconnected. Itâs clear they have no intention of taking responsibility.
This experience has been unacceptable and dangerous. I am now planning to report them to the Orange County Health Department because this is a public safety risk. I have receipts and still have the expired product as proof.
If you care about your health and expect basic customer service, do NOT shop here. I am done with this store and will be pursuing legal action...
   Read moreIf I can give 0 stars I will. The management it's the worst with non existing management skills. Working in the industry for 22 years I never treat my costumers like I was treated today. Yesterday I was shopping at the location on Brookhurst street and I purchased 4 items one of them being pitted mix Kalamata olives $7.52. When I try to use them today the olives on the top was all white. Try to return or exchange the product and I was send from one person to an other (I couldn't found the actual receipt, but I had the payment at that store on the bank app). The manager Veronica (or something close with that) came after me at service deli start speaking in spanish with the service deli employee in the same time an other employee from the front came at service deli and said (again in Spanish) and she told the manager that if I don't have the receipt it's no return (the 3th girl she was passing to the manager a message from someone else). I told the manager that I will dispute the transaction and she said" You can dispute the transacrion". I came home put the trash upside down and finally I found the receipt. Customer Service at this store doesn't exist. Super King it's the best store for shopping with much better prices, a much superior quality, very clean and a much improved...
   Read moreI wanted to write this review to warn people who are going to this grocery store, they usually have good service but sadly I must report that they failed to be responsible. They had some workers who tested positive with COVID and although they arenât currently working they didânt inform their other workers which puts both employees and customers at risk for COVID. Please to whoever is running this store close down and sanitize very well and then reopen. I am trying to get public health services involved because this is very risky for everyone shopping here. This store doesnât have a capacity rule which it should since itâs a popular store and America has the highest COVID cases, it is irresponsible keeping your store open and putting your employees and customers at risk. Please take action and do your part on keeping your employees and customers safe. Close down your store until itâs sanitized throughly then make a capacity limit and also inform your workers and Public health when a worker has tested positive for COVID. To anyone who shops or works here I urge you to speak to your management to do their part on keeping their employees and customers...
