I went in for a Classic scalp service which is the 2nd tier of their price list. The price is $80 and when you book youāre required to pay a $15 deposit. I went in for my service and confirmed my name and service booked several times. I was asked if Iād like to upgrade, I said no to all upgrades and confirmed again I booked the $80 1 hour service with no upgrades. The service itself was fine enough and I felt awkward because the employee had my change in front of her which Iāve never done in a spa setting. Once I got out of my appointment they told me my total was $120 because I had upgraded to better hair products and a 1 1/2 hour service. I was not aware of what products they used as my eyes were closed so I had to believe they used better product instead of the cheap Suave shampoo they apparently use if you donāt upgrade. The lady who did my service was standing right next to the receptionist and agreed I had upgraded the service. I was frustrated and told them I had said multiple times I did not ask to upgrade to the most expensive service. The service had already been done so I accepted it as a miscommunication and paid the $120. Once I walked out I looked at the time and saw my service had only been for 1 hour. So I went back and they āthen realizedā they confused me for a different client even though I confirmed my name and again the lady who did my service was right next to the receptionist. They gave me a refund of $120 and then charged me the $80 for the correct service. I left and the receptionist called me to tell me they needed to refund me and charge me again because they charged me under the wrong employee for the service and they employee wouldnāt be paid if I didnāt come back. I have multiple years experience working this type of job and this isnāt true, they just need to do more work on the back end. However, I came back anyway to fix it. Once I get there they have me the refund of $80 to charge me again and I realized they didnāt take of the $15 deposit I paid off when booking the appointment. I told them this and they argued that because my appointment was rescheduled (by their request because they overbooked) that i lost the deposit. They eventually agreed that the deposit was applicable and only charged me $65. I was at the spa for an additional 40 minutes after my appointment sorting all of this out. On top of everything I had 3 friends who had services that same day and the spa tried to charge ALL of them full price and not refund the deposit. The next day I have a bruise on my arm and a lot of irritation on my scalp from the cheap hair product. I never leave negative reviews but my experience was so stressful, I will absolutely not be going back. Do not spend your money here. I paid $80 to get my hair washed with dollar store shampoo and then they tried to scam me for an additional $65. Iām hoping the 2 refund actually go through so I donāt have to deal with this place anymore as they are so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'll start off that I've had scalp massages done before and have something to compare it to. My service was horrible and was very disappointed in the staff. I was definitely influenced by TikTok when selecting this location which was an hour away from home. The check in process was smooth and was taken in pretty quickly. They do request payment before they start services. My friend and I decided to splurge and paid for 85 mins. The first part of the package was a neck, shoulder, and arm massage. There was no pressure to actually feel good. It was more of a body rub. I wrote it off as it may not be their forte as it is a scalp massage business. About 20 mins into the "massage" there was a new group of clients waiting for their time who was just obnoxiously loud. I tried to ignore it the first few minutes thinking the group would have common sense and read the room as it has peaceful and tranquil vibes. It was to the point that it was the only thing my friend and I can focus on. It got to the point that I had to ask the worker to say something but they didn't want to confront the loud guests. For the remaining of the service not at one point did it feel relaxing. What was supposed to be the best part, scalp massage, was mediocre at best. I did speak up asking for maybe more pressure to make the experience pleasurable but it wasn't reciprocated. I couldn't wait for the 85 mins to be done so we can leave. I thought maybe it was just the person that I had that wasn't fully into their work but then I found out that my friend had the same exact experience! I couldn't believe that we spent over $100 for an experience that we just wanted out. Blow drying was part of the package I selected and I have thin wavy mid length hair. I didn't expect by any means a blow out or some fancy experience as it's just blow drying. The person who was blow drying my hair said to me that she doesn't know if my hair will dry. I noticed that she was using a dyson blow dryer and it was actually the same model that I use at home so I know it takes about 10 mins to go from wet to dry hair. It was a few minutes in and she stopped to tell me I had too much hair and it would take too long to dry my hair. The was the last straw for me. I wish I was able to dry my own hair so I didn't have to go to dinner with wet hair. I'm not sure if they use Dawn dish soap (sarcasm but not really) for their products but it left my hair SO DRY and completely stripped my natural hair oils for days. It took some time for my hair to replenish and go back to normal.
I would not recommend or at least not picking a high priced package to waste money. If I could give zero...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis has been the most horrific experience I've had with my hair I went to highlights along thinking that she would take care of me dyin but she had 2 or 3 other people working on me at the same time I showed her the picture what I wanted before and she said she could achieve it keep in mind I had my hair done twice before by supercuts and had my her lifted so it was light enough to apply Gray she told me she Couldn't do my hair halfway through the process and that if they did Gray it would turn Orange which isn't true I have consulted with professionals and I called her and told her that I was unhappy with a job because my ombre was very uneven and There was big gaps in between my hair also they said they put a root color which they lied they cheated me because when I went home I noticed that my grays were still showing on my roots they never even asked me what color I wanted so when I told her I didn't like it before I left the shop she tell me oh no it's OK it's OK and has to wash out I went home and waited a couple days and then came back she told me she would fix it when I got there she didn't even look at my hair and she said she's gonna charge me $45 more for chemicals and product which is ridiculous she should be able to fix it because they messed up my hair really badd not only was it an even and straight lines and not blended but she fried my hair and my hair looked nothing like the picture So then she tried to fix my hair after arguing with me for a 1/2 an hour and yelling at me and not letting me speak this woman would not let me speak or even tell her how I felt she was screaming at a pregnant woman how horrible is that I told her I didn't want to raise my voice because of my baby and she continued to yell so she try to fix my hair leaving me with black spots all over my face and scalp she used the Vaseline after she applied the color and then she didn't even offer to cut the ends off which were dead and told me all I need is treatment when I went home my hair started falling out tremendously so I had to go to supercuts and cut 6 and a 1/2 inches off my hair I am devastated my hair is so messed up I am so ashamed I then called her to ask her for a refund and she started yelling at me she would not let me get one word in and she told me that I'm a liar so here is the proof and here is the pictures of what she has done this is the most horrific experience I've ever had...
