Cha2Cha — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Stumbled upon this small, cute boba shop on accident after missing my turn towards another shop. They had a banner for their three year anniversary saying all drinks were $3.99 so I couldn't resist. And the universe definitely had me covered!

Drinks came out pretty quickly, within 10 minutes. Service was quite friendly, and seemed like they were close with the regulars/nearby business workers that popped in.

Ordered a house milk tea, Taro Lava, and Taro Blue Milk Tea with cheese foam. All were delicious and would recommend all three. House milk tea was nice and creamy, with good tea flavor. The taro blue milk tea is pretty taro forward so you would think it's a taro milk tea without knowing there's buttfly pea in it. I got the milk teas at 50% sweet but they were on the sweeter side so I'd recommend going low if you don't like sweet drinks.

Ultimately, really nice small business worth supporting. Rarely am in the area but if I lived nearby I'd been there wayyy too much. Even without this months special discount, from what I recall the price is pretty affordable, especially compared to big...

If you are looking for a chill hangout / study place, I highly recommend coming here to Cha2Cha for quick bites. They have plentiful of seating and the menu is extensive in snacks & drinks.

When we walked in, we were greeted by a staff and provided a menu. They also have a kiosk on the side where you can place your order if you prefer no-contact order.

My sister and I started off with the drinks to cool us down. We got the Taro Lava and Mangonada. I personally really loved the Taro Lava because of the texture and taste. The Mangoanada is more of an acquired taste because I didn't particular love this type of dessert; it's wayy too sweet for me.

The pandan glutinous rice cake and calamari were my favorite snacks. I love patties and crispy snacks with my drinks. They were a light snack with my meal.

A really great boba place in Anaheim! I loved the taro lava which is a creamy milky taro slushee! The taste was on point and not too sweet. Perfect for my taste. The classic boba milk tea was also delicious! I always order the classic because you can judge how good a boba tea place is by their original one! This one did not disappoint!
