Nice & Clean, but small. Women only. No swimsuits. 5 hours allowed.
Amenities: large hot tub, small ice-cold plunge, small hot tub, steam sauna, dry sauna. 5 sit-down showers, 3 standing showers.
In the âcommonâ area: Salt Room, Mullen room, lots of lounging space, TVâs, a place to eat, & filtered water.
Provided: 2 small towels, one large towel, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, & robe. (Bring your own towels if that wonât be enough. Make sure theyâre not white.)
Lacking: Ice room, clay ball room, cool tub (the only not-hot tub is ice cold), no in-house food. Thereâs a Korean street food place next door, but they are closed on Sundays.
Opinion: The spa is deep in the heart of Koreatown. It was quiet even on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone there was pretty nice, but a little surprised to see a Caucasian. There was not a language barrier with the staff.
I got a 50 minute oil massage. This was performed in the same area as the body scrubs, and on the same table as a scrub⌠so waterproof. This proved to be a bit odd, sliding around and whatnot.
I usually get asian-type massages, instead of Swedish, but his was unusual even by those standards. It was very brisk, with fast movements, not really doing any sort of deep work.
She did a cucumber mask that was literally sliced cucumbers that covered my entire face. (Odd at first but actually nice.) I declined getting my hair washed, as I wasnât expecting that without a scrub and had already done it. She ended the massage with a warm milk rinse. That was also unusual but pleasant.
It is a nice little spot, give it a try. The prices are...
Read moreI've never been to a korean spa, but heard its wonderful. This place is amazing and the experience was cool too! We did the massage and body scrub. I have never felt so clean in my life! This scrub lady easily removed 3 layers of dead skin and now I am silky smooth EVERYWHERE!
This is an all ladies spa. Upon arrival, you get towels, a robe and locker key. Once you enter the locker room, you must remove your shoes. Don't be shy when you undress. Everyone is naked. Shower before you enter any of the tubs. There's a hot tub, cold plunge tub and a rinse tub (although the sign says linse bathtub. LOL!). Also in this area there is a sauna and steam room.
In another area, there are lounge chairs with korean shows to watch, salt room, and sleeping room.
After your soak, rest, shower, etc, there is a station to get ready. Hair dryer, comb, q tips, etc.
If you don't mind being naked and treating yourself to a wellness day, then this is a must check out. Prices are very reasonable. If you are self conscious and are a never-nude, skip this place and go to a...
