Vietnamese Heritage Museum — Attraction in Garden Grove

My Vietnamese immigrant parents really resonated with the museum, which had fascinating artifacts and stories. The biggest artifact is a rare original wooden boat used by Vietnamese boat people to escape the country decades ago. The president and founder lead us through the museum, explaining the exhibits with lots of enthusiasm. The purpose of the museum is to ensure that people know the harrowing stories of Vietnamese immigrants, and that future generations of Vietnamese people know the heritage of their ancestors. I came to the museum because I was always interested in learning about the Vietnamese Refugee experience not just in the United States,but everywhere around the world. I learned about the history about the refugees went through during the escape and many other things. I really believe that the Vietnamese Heritage Museum has a lot of potential to thrive and become well known everywhere...

Special shoutout to Nanh and Alyssa for making this a very memorable experience! Took my son to this museum as he is doing his research project on the Vietnam war.
