Gardena Gateway Center — Attraction in Gardena

I really like visiting this shopping center for a variety of reasons. The shops and Bank and restaurants are good choices. Chase Bank here is convenient and the staff is very courteous. 99 Ranch Market is a Chinese food store which has great prices on a variety of different things especially now during the Chinese New Years. A great time to get rice and other specialty items. There's also a Japanese discount chachki store call Daizo. It is like a 99 Cent Only store but with a greater variety and range of prices for a number of products that in many cases are much Superior to those found at other discount stores. They do not have a very good return policy so be aware of that. As well, they have a terrific little Chinese restaurant across the way from Chase Bank I think called home kitchen. They are well priced and have home cooked meals that are terrific. If you wish fast food there's a McDonald's and there is a terrific Chinese Bakery and other restaurants which I have not yet visited. Parking can be rather challenging during weekends and other peak times. However it's worth the truck if you want to explore different indigenous Foods, spices and have an adventure in one Shopping...

This place use to be a great little bakery where you can grab great drinks and sweet treats to satisfy your cravings, but this place is going down hill. The chairs have disappeared leaving some tables without any chairs. I know the staff must notice a few lonely tables without even 1 chair but NOTHING is being done about the chair shortage. Once upon a time 85°Bakery was known for their "Fresh Bread" and even the staff would announce fresh bread being stocked. NOBODY says that anymore. Is that because they don't care anymore? Its a shame they don't yell that anymore because that's what made the 85° Bakery experience a little more exciting. As I waited for my drinks tonight I noticed all the black scuff marks on the floor near the drink station and all the trash on the floor another sign that this location is going down hill. I saw baby flies in the bins and told an employee who just shrugged his shoulders at me and went on walking by. The signs on the bins are looking ratty and some were even cheaply written on in marker. I guess I will have to either drive further out to the Carson location or give up 85°...

The staff and bread selections are always great here. And this is a location that makes excellent 85° iced coffee. If you haven't had it before, I highly recommend that you do! I will say my last visit wasn't as pleasant as it normally was. And it was by no means the staffs fault or the quality of our food/drinks, but someone picked up our drinks, because they were standing at the counter and grabbed them before the staff said the number ou loud. So I guess receipts need to be checked before customers can take the drinks next time. The staff was nice seeing as we had been sitting there and waiting for a while and had no drinks in sight, so when I asked them about it, they were really nice and made our drinks again, but for us...
