EXPERIENCE 2 (Positive)
I dropped in again with my mom for lunch. My mom ordered her usual ¼ Pollo (Quarter Chicken), I ordered the Picante de Carne. There was some confusion when they served my mom's ¼ Pollo. However, they were very pleasant and corrected the situation immediately. I was very pleased when they served my dish. Picante de Carne is beef with potatoes in a spicy cream sauce topped with half an egg, served over rice. The beef is tender, yet has a slight chew to keep it interesting. The potatoes are firm, yet tender. This all comes together in the spicy cream sauce which has rich earthy tones and tastes incredible. Para mí es muy picante pero delicioso.

This place is nothing fancy. But, it seems to be well organized and clean. The interesting thing is their unique setup. They have a menu board which makes ordering takeout a breeze. They also have an area for online order pickup. And, of course there is regular dining with table service.
The chicken soup that was served as a starter was slow simmered tastiness. The broth was wonderful, with big chunks of tender chicken. I ordered the Chaufa de Pollo (Chicken Fried Rice) which was excellent. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and all the other ingredients were fresh and seasoned to perfection. This dish proves that no matter what the culture. A fried rice or mixed rice dish is almost always delicious. I also tasted a bit of the ¼ Pollo (Quarter Chicken) and it was succulent and tasty.
Service overall was very good. There was one issue though. It was difficult to get someone's attention when something was needed. They were very busy with pickup orders at the time of my visit, so a lot of their attention was focused in that area. However, everyone was very pleasant and took care of everything that was needed.

Read moreMy wife and I just got home from visiting the restaurant located off the 91 Freeway in Gardena and our experience was not the best. When we arrived we were greeted well, our server was pleasant and took our order and that was the best part of the entire service. Our server never returned to our table.
From that point forward, no one came back to our table to check on us. We never got our drinks and they did not even put utensils at the table. After much wait, we got our food and that’s when they discovered that they never brought drinks, utensils, soup or bread. All of a sudden they all rushed and put everything at once at the table. By the time we were finished with our soup, our food was cold.
When we finished eating, another server came to our table to get the plates and asked if everything was good. I told her it was not and asked to speak to the manager. Instead of getting the manager she asked us what was wrong and we told her how no one ever showed up to our table and how the food was cold. She asked why we did not tell the person who served us that the food was cold, and we told her we couldn’t because no one ever stopped by once. The server said she was going to ask the manger to give us a discount and walked away. A short time later, another male server (who was serving the table next to us) showed up and said he heard we had bad service and asked us what had happened. We went through the whole story again and he said he was sorry that the most he could do was to give us a free dessert, which we turned down. While he was talking to us, the check was dropped off and the moment we left the payment, it was immediately picked up and we had our change. Funny how quick they were to drop off the check and were looking out for the payment but not as attentive when it came to our service.

Read moreDO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. THE PEOPLE ARE SKETCHY!!!!! I ordered through the app, my first order was cancelled by the restaurant. Confused, I reordered the same exact order. The first order was placed 9:05 pm, second order placed 9:24 pm. I called numerous times between the restaurant and the delivery app. The first time I called the female said that my food had already been picked up and on it's way to me. The second time I called, she said my food was being prepared in the kitchen mind you it's like an hour after my order was placed. The delivering service had said that the restaurant was the hold up. I called back again, to have the woman accuse me of having BOTH orders. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THESE F**ING GAMES. I'm HUNGRY, and TIRED, I have work early in the morning. I can't believe I was accused of scamming when each time that I called, they changed their story. I then get a call from a man that says this phone call will be recorded... and that he's from corporate. Tell me why it was the same number I've been calling. SO then he asks if I received the order, I stated no and he said he'd let them know. I called again, and the woman says that she's not going to do anything about it because she already sent the order out to some mysterious driver. But also stated that she had been sending a lot of drivers away. I called again, where a man gets on the phone. This male starts accusing me of receiving both of the orders as well. Then proceeds to cut me off when I'm trying to express my concerns and confusion as to what's happening. I asked him to listen and he continuously interrupted me and told me to listen. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, IN NEED OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Definitely will NEVER ORDER from here EVER....
