So I came in this morning looking for a good waffle breakfast plate. Unfortunately they didn’t have anything available in turkey side options(sausage and bacon) so I settled for a chicken and waffles meal. I got a side of bananas and blueberries for 5.00 (only half of a banana and a decent amount of blueberries) and I everything was served on a styrofoam plate which kind of threw me off due to the fact that I had to cut my waffle with a knife knowing it might cut through the plate. Also the breakfast potatoes I ordered had some pretty big bell peppers on the plate as well. I live in the area and I’m all about supporting local businesses. But this place was pretty overpriced for some OK food and the presentation of it all was pretty much like the food. Men’s restroom had a weird mildew smell and the dishes that you see along the walk way to the restroom was quite a sight to see as well. I know this restaurant has allot of support. I’ve heard good things and I’ve heard bad things. I just had to experience it myself. Wouldn’t be a place I would recommend to anyone if they want to enjoy the food as well as the experience inside of the restaurant. I hope they could make some changes so it could be more of an enjoyable experience. Great workers and they are familiar with the menu but it’s not the people. It’s the food and the scenery. I spent 27 dollars on the food in this picture. Didn’t...

Now, let's get to the good stuff: the food. If you're craving a classic comfort breakfast, Aunties has you covered. Bacon, eggs, all the usual suspects, done right. And here's a little tip: you can usually turn those breakfast basics into a killer breakfast burrito. Just ask! They're super accommodating.
For my 7-year-old, it's always a battle between the waffles with fruit and the plain pancakes. Today, it was waffles, and he was a happy camper. They're fluffy, they're tasty, and they're kid-approved.
But here's where Aunties really shines: their Hawaiian food. The loco moco? It's a family favorite for us. The gravy, the hamburger patty, the eggs, all over rice? It's the kind of dish that just makes you feel good.
Aunties Cafe isn't about fancy presentations or trendy dishes. It's about good, honest food made with love. It's the kind of place you go when you want a comforting meal that reminds you of home. It's the kind of place where you leave feeling full, satisfied, and just a little bit happier. If you're looking for a down-to-earth breakfast or brunch spot with a touch of Hawaiian flavor, Aunties Cafe is a must-try. You won't be...
Read moreIt's time to find a new breakfast burrito spot.
I used to be a regular--ordering 2-3 times a week just a few months ago. Back then, the burritos were hearty, flavorful, and well worth the price. Today, I decided to treat myself and was completely let down.
The burrito was noticeably smaller than what I used to get, and it wasn't even filled properly (see photos). For over $13 in person--or over $17 online--this is just unacceptable. Even the salsa has changed; it used to be thicker, now it's watery and less savory. While the food was still pretty good (though left me hungry), the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It's frustrating to see the quality drop this much, especially for a business I supported so often. Sadly, I won't be...
