CHILE VERDE MEXICAN FOOD — Restaurant in Gardena

I am very disappointed in Chile Verde. They used to be better.

The food is okay, the eating area is clean, but the prices are a bit high and the environment is very noisy and annoying if you are eating there or waiting for an order.

There is almost continuous loud Spanish language radio coming out of speakers in the ceiling with Spanish language talking and some Spanish language music. That is a deal-breaker.

I suspect the employees tune the radio to a station they want to listen to without regard to how much business they chase away. The business needs better management if they want to satisfy their customers and maximize their profits.

I don't expect to return anytime soon. There is plenty of competition.

Take your money and time elsewhere.

EDIT:

Almost all the menu prices end in .99 or .49 (a common deceptive and manipulative business pricing practice). So if you can't see the prices clearly in the photos of the menu, just add a dollar to each price.

The prices will likely be higher in the future with high inflation created by the government in at least six ways that you don't learn in school, university, or the news media. They keep people ignorant about how they steal our earnings...

Man oh man they messed up tonight. I’m a regular for taco Tuesday but the one lady that works there that I love is not there tonight. I almost walked out when I didn’t see her but I decided to give it a try. I ordered my food and I started seeing people (That were behind me )in line get their food. I waited 20 minutes and still no food. I went up to the counter and told the lady (I ordered my dinner with)“I think I was forgotten”. “She said yeah I think so to”. Say what??? Finally she found my order which was in a shelf down below (which would be a phone orders). I told her my food will be cold now that I waited 20 minutes and the time to drive home with it. The other lady that worked their said, “no, no it was just put there, it’s still warm” . I said there is no way that my food is warm and why not hot as long as I waited? Well... low and behold my tacos were freezing cold and I asked for just cheese on my carne asada taco and got none. Highly disappointed. I will not be back to this location when they are their . I didn’t even get a sorry. I can’t say it enough highly...

Flavor was good the lady working the front counter was really nice but the burrito was a poor value for the money I got a shredded beef burrito thinking that it would have more meat than a carne asada and it didn't it only had about a third of the meat and the burrito was only half the size of my forearm all burritos need to be around the size of my forearm for less than $10 to be a good value this was not a good value the place was sparkling clean but the burrito was filled 75% with beans and rice very little protein I had to go buy two hamburgers $5 more dollars afterwards at an Arco gas The owner is evidently a cheapskate and wants to fill you up on cheapo carbohydrates that cost about 1/50th of the...
