Candy World — Attraction in Garland

Okay I would give this place two Stars if I thought that the establishment should be completely perfectly clean but in this case noope don't think that matters. 70 dollars for 2 lbs of candy it actually really wasn't that good. not to mention that everything that's in there that is actually name brand is about triple or even quadruple the price that you can get it at the dang gas station. On top of did issue of the person at the counter who seemed to be the one in charge of everything at the store couldn't speak English well enough to tell me what the price was so 17 became 70 very quickly. I believe she mentioned something about it being like $12 a pound for candy. You might as well just go to Walmart. What a terrible...

I called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for, which were specific colors of M&M's for cake decorating. They said they had both colors I was looking for. I drove 30 minutes to get there and they only had one of the colors. The girl working was not helpful when I mentioned this (she said nothing). She watched us like a hawk, though, which is probably good for keeping the candy clean, but does make for an uncomfortable experience. She was literally right behind me, looking over my shoulder. They had a few unique things that are also tasty, but I wouldn't drive that far again...

My daughters, sister, and I went to this store for candy. As soon as we walked in, the girl at the counter watched us (mainly my daughters) and completely ignored the other people in the store. It was as if she watched us to see if we would steal. Annoyed and offended, I told my daughters and my sister to leave. For, we will not be stalked when willing to BUY candy (even though it was overly priced). NJ, a previous reviewer, is spot on in her assessment...
