Los Gatos Coffee Co — Restaurant in Garland

Stopped by early this morning on my to work, but since I was heading in 1.5 hr early, definitely needed some COFFEE! Suzana was amazing, very friendly and patient with my questions since it was my first time here. Had a comical conversation about having cats for customers to pet while consuming coffee in the shop. Had a delicious Dulce de Leche latte(double shot of espresso) and a delicious Strawberry pop tart. Since my cup was to go and I expressed I loved her cute design atop of drink, she indulged me with it and made it on mine to look and enjoy. I loved it. Shared my pic with my adult daughter, since she loves visiting new coffee shops. She will definitely visit too and bring her coffee junkie friends…and maybe me too?!! lol..all in all, please visit and try. Came here for a coffee meeting with my manager, and I love the vibe. It's smaller than expected, and there aren't enough tables unless you work at the bar in the back. The owners are super sweet and they just opened the shop three weeks ago! I believe this is the only local shop in the Firewheel area.

I'd highly recommend dropping by this shop if you're in the area and supporting locals instead of Starbucks. I got the lavender Italian soda and a chocolate chip cookie, it was refreshing and perfect. My manager got an iced almond milk latte, but she didn't like her cold drink so she got hot coffee after. The environment is perfect for a meet-up or works in silence. We were there for 2 hours and there wasn't anyone else but us. I'll drop by again if I'm in the area...

It's a real small, cozy place, and when we looked at their menu online, we didn't really expect much, but the space is really comfy and their menu is actually much larger than what they have listed on their website (which, to be fair, said COMING SOON at the top of it). Being a small business, we knew to expect that there simply might be some things that are out of stock, but they had plenty of great options to get instead. I also appreciate their tea quality and the types of syrups they have available. They didn't put a ridiculous amount of ice in the iced coffee and the food was delicious.
