Lot's of wildlife , ducks , birds , turtles and good parking all around. I go there to feed the ducks.. mostly seeds and whole kernel corn. It's a stopping point for migrating Canadian Geese. They feed and love to be fed. Fishing is allowed and you can catch some pretty good cats or perch. Plenty of room to bring your family and is adjacent to a family water park , baseball fields and a walking trail around the whole lake with markers and benches around the way. Great place to relax and it has BBQ pits in the picnic bench areas. It recently received a face lift around the banks which makes it nice to walk up to the waters edge with sinking in the mud. Fast food restaurants across the street and around the corner. Very relaxing...

PLAYGROUND: One of the best in the area! Gated off from the rest of the expansive park, to keep your little ones from wandering.
Inclusive in design: Accessible swings & play structures for a range of ages & abilities. Ground surface is poured rubber so its easy to maneuver entire play area! Concrete wheelchair ramps & stairs help access top of play structure.

Read moreNot sure if it was just empty due to it looking like it would rain, but the kids had the whole playground to themselves for most of our stay. Not a bad size with plenty to do. They had a field for almost every sport people usually play. Only negative was that the bathrooms were closed and they had a honey bucket about 300 yards away. Not a good experience when your kids let you know they have to go super bad at the last second.... Other than that, they found their favorite park since we can bring the bikes, sports balls, and kites so they can...
