I was discriminated against at this location. I went in to order the $5 Nacho Box and their cashier “James” told me they were out of chips until their next truck came in next week. So I ordered a different meal. Less than 3 minutes of me sitting down to eat I noticed an older Caucasian male ordered the exact same $5 Nacho box and they served it to him with no problem. I was shocked! However, I continued to observe just to make sure I didn’t over hear the order wrong. Another 2-3mins pass and an older Caucasian woman and her family came in and her son also was served the $5 Nacho Box. This time unlike the last, I actually saw the kid open the box. I then approached the cashier to ask him how come he told me they were out of chips until next week. He replied “They just made more.” At this point I knew he was lying so I asked to speak with the manager Britney. I told her the story and her response confirmed everything I was thinking. She said I told James(cashier)we were low on chips and were only going to serve the Nachos until we ran out.... I then asked her well how come James refused to sell them to me but yet he served them to 2 customers right after me? She replied, “I don’t know.” I asked her how come he gets to pick and choose who gets the last of the chips? Shouldn’t it be 1st come, 1st served? She had no response for the question. She then replied “I can make you an order of the nachos if you like” and I replied “No thank you because I had just finished my food.” At this point I could tell the conversation was going nowhere so I asked for the corporate number so I could file a complaint. The manager then replied she didn’t know the corporate number for sure but she’ll look it up online. She returned and gave me some Austin number she found. So I proceeded to call the number while I was still in the store and sure enough it wasn’t corporate. It was a number to another Taco Bell in Austin Tx. Nonetheless, the employee there was Super helpful and was able to point me in the right direction. Please believe I will work long and hard until this has...
Read moreWalked in on the night manager and 3 other employees talking trash about me when I came back for the order they forgot. The drive-thru forgot 1 meal out of the 4 I ordered. At the window the cashier said the receipt was in the bag after we paid cash. When I called back to ask if I could turn around and get it, the Female manager said they had no record of my order on any of her receipts for cash or card and that the cashier gives everyone their receipt. Ours wasn't in the bag as we were told. I told her I could bring in tge rest of the food I just got as proof and was able to give the name and description of the cashier. The manager said well I guess we can make it if you come back and get it. So I did. The drive-thru was longer so I went inside the open lobby. I stood there for about 5 minutes while they pretty much went over my conversation with the manager and trashed talked me until finally one of the girls saw me. I told her I was here for the order you were just talking about. The manager cursed "under her breath " but loud enough to hear and the girl gave me the bag. It wasn't even the right order after all. I said have a good day and watch what you say when you're cursing about someone especially if you're not gonna watch the front. The manager never came out to say anything just moved further behind the counter in the kitchen area out of eyesight. The girl said "ok have a nice day, bye" as I walked out. Don't waste your...
Read moreThis was by far the worst Taco Bell experience I’ve ever had. I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews, but the level of unprofessionalism I experienced was genuinely disappointing.
I understand Taco Bell isn’t known for five-star customer service, but there’s a basic standard of respect that should always be met — and this location completely missed the mark. When I pulled up to the speaker, the employee audibly sighed as if my order was an inconvenience, despite there being no other cars in line and my order being placed ahead of time through the app. At the window, she rolled her eyes, said nothing the entire time, and then shut the window in my face when I tried to complimented her nails. That kind of behavior is unnecessarily rude and completely inappropriate for someone in customer service.
To make things worse, items from my order were missing. I didn’t catch the employee’s name, but she was a young woman wearing a hairnet with short, square black-and-nude French tip nails with gems.
If you’re looking for a better Taco Bell, I strongly recommend the Broadway location — they’re always friendly, respectful,...
