Read moreI rode the mtb trails here and it was a blast! The trail head took a minute to find and the trail doesn't end at the same place it begins so it was a little confusing, but other than that it was a great trail to ride. The parking lot was super easy to find; google maps takes you right there. The first 1/3 of the 6 mile trail is mostly a flattish scenic trail, but after that you will start weaving up and down hills which gives you both a fun down hill rides and challenging technical climbs. This is a fun trail and I would definitely recommend riding it if you are within 20 minutes or so...

It was a beautiful retreat. The kids got to explore the dense forest area, run through tall grass fields, and run after an abundance of butterflies. Its right after the elk viewing area also, so an added bonus to an already great nature park! Definitely going again when we're back...
