So I dropped of my laptop for repair was charged a diagnostic fee(not uncommon). Once I received the diagnosis I was quoted at one price then later on quoted about 200$ higher then the original. Naturally I am not ok with such a huge change and I decided that I am going to skip the repair. One I go to pick my machine up I get it back in pieces.... i.e. they took apart my machine and scrambled to put it back together and did not not even put the screws back into the machine. However, rest assured that all of the screws where put in a bag for me....... I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Once I arrived the technician in the back was on his cell phone vice putting screws back into the computer that they took apart......... the front desk personal where very nice however the actual work is garbage (over statement).
Respectfully to your response I’m gonna go elsewhere. If I bring you a machine that is put together I should get back the same way or better. As for the quote issues, the task was handled in about two minutes it’s not so much the price which went from 540ish brand new to 650 used, its the fact that the effort shows your level of customer service or lack there of not to mention the lack of desire to do business. Yes I did not have 500+$ burning a hole in my pocket since you want to put my personal financial situation on the internet so yes I had to do the adult thing save some money and work some extra hours to pay for the repairs. If you want to discuss this you have my personal number not to mention you have spoken to me in person before, feel free to not put on an act to make it out that your service is better then it really is. This review was to inform others of the service I received. Which based on other reviews this seems to be a common trend with YOUR tech. Your response to this matter only proves my point. You will sell a response versus right a wrong.
To the owner of cutting edge: Once again this is a review of how my experience was at your establishment, pointing the finger of blame at your consumer for the bad service that was received only proves my point. If you take your car to a mechanic for repairs and said mechanic puts half of the lug nuts back on.... ( irrelevant if it’s a safety issue or not ) the fact of the matter is it was half way put back together and is considered poor service. I had disclosed my frustration for my machine not being put back together properly. Did I make a scene by demanding an owners/management audience and demand that it be put back together? No I did NOT. Because honestly it shows the lack of service there is at your establishment. If it is in your policy to do that then from my experience that is considered POOR service. Then to make it out as if I failed because of the lack of effort only shows the true colors of what your business motto is. They probably don't get to many coming into there office in tears with their world falling apart. But this was what I needed. I not only got how are you, I got a hug too from more than one. I am probably the least savvy person in MI when it comes to computers, but they all took their time and brought it down to my level til I understood where I was at and where I needed to go. They did not rush me and were extremely patience. They all gave that old home town attitude. The one where everyone knows everyone and everybody is ready to help you.    Read moreThis place is horrible. If i could rate them a negative -10 I would. The company I work for has dealt with them for computer repairs over the past year. One of their employees came to our office to do an in house evaluation and he was nothing but RUDE and ignorant the entire time. He made it seem that we shouldn't have called them and that it was a pain that we had! I will NEVER recommend them or use them. Not to mention every time you go into their store they stand around forever before anyone helps you, only to tell you their techs are out of the office!
